AND YEAH, he's already got a ton of bitterness brewing over like... the idea of a reality where Han and Leia might have been the parents he wanted/needed. And he's got a lot of Han things going on right now, because without Snoke around to guide him, he's being hit with the permanency of what he did. SO: HE'S EXPERIENCING GRIEF AND MOURNING HIS DAD AND FEELING REGRET and also trying to deny all of it.
