So Alex is going to be recording and beginning to investigate the kidnappings when she herself gets grabbed near the coffee shop. She's going to leave her purse and recording behind with some barely there descriptions of the dudes who grabbed her. In her bag is going to be a card in it that says "In case of emergency, contact Dr. Richard Strand" if someone wants to find it.

While being held, Alex is going to be basically running her mouth and trying to keep attention off people who aren't going to be handling the sleep deprivation as she is.
