[ Truly stinky, eh? Well, if it's in the name of keeping both the general population and the (mostly?) peaceful behemoth safe, then enduring a bad smell for a little while seems like a really small price to pay. Magnus is pretty quick on his feet and more than capable of defending himself, but once he's on the way, he might be dividing his focus very slightly in the name of taking in his surroundings.
See, any kind of mission that involves exploring the surrounding area is useful, because it extends the area in which Magnus can feasibly portal from place to place. If a second lure needed to be placed in the same location as the first, for example, it wouldn't be any trouble at all for him to portal back to that spot. But only if he's been there before. It's the only drawback to what would otherwise be an extremely convenient mode of travel and also the reason he tries to cover as much ground as possible while traveling in as close to a straight line as he can manage, all the while also putting his feet as many places as he can manage.
Here he is, outfitted for a trip outside the walls and either ready to make way or already on his way with one of the lures in his possession. A truly stinky one, thank you. If you have super senses, maybe you don't want to get to close? But maybe you want to help out and explore, so anyone who'd like to accompany him would be grand.
While en route, you might also notice he's not giving the destination all his focus and maybe meandering a little. Feel free to bring that to his attention in whatever way you see fit. ]

Purely for the sake of my own curiosity, I wonder if you'd define the word "magic." Whether you understand it to be something real or something fictional, I'm interested in how it's seen on your various worlds.

FRIENDR
Magnus Lightwood-Bane
AGE: Just celebrated my thirtieth birthday, apparently! INTERESTED IN: Romantically? My husband. SEEKING: Generally? I'd be very happy to make some friends! ABOUT ME: I'm interested in history and magic and the history of magic in other worlds. If cross-universe travel earned frequent flier miles, I believe I'd be set for life! Even my life, which is longer than most. I have no special feelings about long walks on the beach. What else? Oh yes, it's been said that I like to drink. I'm particularly fond of interesting and/or magical alcoholic beverages!
