It takes everything in Ryder not to just jump on every mission that pops up. Living planetside again is almost a novelty for her at this point. It's hard to say whether she prefers it to the Tempest or not, but she's not really going anywhere else anytime soon apparently. So for now, she enjoys the planet while she can. Like getting to explore the wilds and meet the wildlife up close and personal.

The behemoth her team baits now nearly swaggers after the bait. It would help if it moved faster, but Ryder can't help but appreciate it's almost utter lack of immediacy while being hunted. A creature like that feels confidence to it's core, and she'd love to get to understand why it's so casual in the face of danger. She doesn't want to take the chance right now, either, especially since it could be any number of other reasons.
She stays on the outskirts of the group, her eyes scanning the forests for any signs of the... lizard-like is the best word she's got for them - the lizard-like creatures that trail hungrily after their group. Her gun rests against her hip, held in one hand while she stands watch.
"Is it coming along yet?" She calls back over her shoulder, turning back to see the progress of the person trying to bait the thing along.

I gotta say, of all the planets I could have gotten stuck on, I feel pretty lucky to be stuck on this one. I've seen some worse off ones, and I nearly did get stuck on those ones. Feeling a little grateful right about now. Personally at least. You know how it goes - could always be worse.
Anyway, anyone up for talking about their worlds? Not really falling asleep too easily over here, could use some good stories to read. And I feel like a lot of you out there have a lot of good stories to share. Especially about other worlds I couldn't even begin to dream up.
