[The head of the figure swivels, revealing a masquerade mask in red, black, and white. The rather formfitting leather outfit she wore matched it spectacularly and was surprisingly able to allow her to blend in with the shadows of the forest she walked through. She'd taken up the job of watching over those who were baiting the behemoth just for something to do but the group she'd been with had decided to double back and get a new bait when it was clear the behemoth had no interest in their particular foodstuff.
She'd found herself with no interest in returning to the city just yet, so had stayed with the creature, or near enough to it, to maintain a few magic shields that blocked it's would-be attackers from casual attempts at chowing down on the big guy. Other people accompanying the creature were not so lucky. She could only maintain such magics for so long and over so much space, no matter how powerful she'd become in the last year.
But that didn't mean she wasn't merciful when specifically called to. Thus she turned her head and after a moment, moved to cross the path she'd been walking to stand under the tree holding the young-seeming girl and look up at her.
From behind her mask, a voice on the deeper side sounded, though muffled slightly, and spoke in a calm, commanding tone:]
Come down and walk with me. Stand close enough and the bones of the lost will shield you just as well as they shield me.
[It was hard for the creatures - any creature really - to get past the whirling mini-funnel of bone and detritus that surrounded her when she decided to call it forth.]
