I like to think most people can. I'm not sure I believe any AI can, but I suppose that's something for someone else to figure out. I would rather not be the one to do so.

Really it depends on the technology. I think anyone who creates an AI expecting it to know right from wrong or what emotions are from the start is making a mistake. We understand things because we learn them through experiences. I think a good AI would be one that starts at the bottom and learns through experiences and education the way a person would. I don't care how strong a processor they're given, no one should be given too much knowledge all in one go, no matter how good the sorting and logic algorithms are.

The world is full of contradictions.

I'm talking myself in circles, and far too much. I'm sorry. Sometimes I don't know when to stop.
