So in OFF there is the possibility to fight a character named Sucre as the bonus boss, provided the player gets their hand on one of the Grand Elements in the Purified Zones. Dialog post this fight - Sucre's last words being a request to say good-bye to Zacharie and his reaction to them - suggest that him and Sucre are a lot closer than it seems. But since he's just a merchant and this is just a video game, he doesn't (or can't) interfere with the fight and help her.

But in this AU Zacharie does, revealing here he's a bit stronger than one might think and both him and Sucre take on the Batter in a duel fight. Unfortunately it's still a video game and they lose.

Zacharie's not much different in this AU, aside from dying via blunt force trauma rather than the end of the world this time. However he will not know about the events in The Room because he 'died' before that. He will also be remembering his CR and time in Riverview.
