1) That's totally fine! Since there's no definite solution, any characters who think they could be helpful are free to sign up and take a gander, i mostly just used "science" and "magic" as the two terms to make it clear that even though the item is magical, scientific/technical based solutions may also work

2) oh my god YES i love this. it won't work probably (although if no one else signs up then maybe it will) but the idea of someone just shooting the damn thing is hilarious to me. a+
