He takes no issue with being out in a storm. Would that there were enemies amongst them amassing in it, he'd be out in the elements with a sword in hand. But there is no such dire threat (less dire ones, to be certain, but none he considers so urgent as to face them imminently) and so he has spent his days working on a map of the region instead.
