● threading preferences: I can work with just about any format, and i'll adapt to either brackets or prose, as well as tag length. Good with either network or logs, though the latter is much better in terms of variety and building CR, especially in the long run.

● about: A homicide detective who worked for the LAPD. Satan himself decided to take up residence and LA and weaseled his way into her cases, and it stuck. She's got an 8-year old daughter who she loves dearly and is deeply devoted to her work. She comes across as a bit cold or standoffish at times due to her trust issues, but she's actually a very caring individual for people who get close to her.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm open to pretty much anything at this point. Having her build on and make new CR is always the biggest draw to me, though I am also excited for the exploration aspects. I'd like to have her get into more 'police-y' things, or give her some kind of mystery to solve.
● what plans you have for this character: So, she recently discovered a few new powers that I would like to have her eventually master. Right now she's got some very rudimentary precognition and healing abilities, but they are not consistent nor very powerful. I'd love for her to learn from another magic savvy character about this. I also plan to throw her up onto the memory share event in Oct.
● shipping/smut preferences: She's got a permanent ship partner in game so I'm not currently looking for anything else in this department.

● what your character wants: To go home. To see her daughter. To figure out her status as a 'miracle child' and what that means for her. To figure out wtf is going on in Riverview in general and the concept of alternate realities and timelines. To put away bad guys. To navigate her new relationship with her partner who happens to be the Devil himself. Oh, and to go home.
● what your character needs: A little of everything of the above, but mostly what she needs are friends. Maybe people to get her out of her shell and have her let loose a bit. Mostly I just really love the idea of found family stuff that would give her lasting ties to the city. As she's also recently discovered her developing powers, she's going to need a mentor or someone to guide her in taking control of that.

Show him new strange things and he'll soak up the knowledge, and will love to try all sorts of new stuff he's never done before.

He likes feeling active and like he's contributing to change in a good way, so he definitely keeps an eye out for all sorts of exciting and interesting missions that might help improve life in the Quarantine, as well as shed some light about the portal and the moon in general.
● what plans you have for this character: He's just recently recovered a shuttle from beyond the Quarantine wall, and he's currently working on fixing it up and getting it to top shape. That done, he will set up a Perimeter Guard branch more focused on shuttle travel and exploration, both within and above the atmosphere. This will include but not be limited to flight lessons, shuttle tours, etc.

He came back from the dead a little less noble, deciding that Batman's no kill rule was bullshit. He runs his own team known as the Outlaws…which is pretty much what it sounds like. In game he claims to have been 'special forces' and tries to hide his past life as a vigilante from those who don't know.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Jason's not very good with forming healthy bonds with people, and so far he's been getting better about it while still keeping people at an arms length, this is something I hope to explore more with. I would also love to play with more of his vigilante side, his desires to protect women and children and generally cause problems for crimianl elements.
● what plans you have for this character: Right now my only really planed is some family bonding with the other bats, and Jay conteniually messing up his love life and reputation.

● about: Steve is a military aviator, straight out of the end of WWI, which he only knows as the Great War. He was also a spy, though he tends to keep that to himself, as well as the fact that he had just died before coming here. He's generally friendly but reserved, and is still struggling with both technology and social norms in the Quarantine. Modern-day/future people are generally more open and less "proper" and while he doesn't mind it, it's not something he's used to.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: At the moment I just want him to get settled in and get more solid CR going. He needs more friends and people he can rely on during difficult situations. Maybe people for him to spar or train with, just to keep active.
● what plans you have for this character: At the moment, I want to find him a proper job and a more focused purpose, something he'll look forward to doing and getting more involved with. I'd also like for him to do a little more exploring beyond the city walls, as he's only been out there to visit the portal once.
● shipping/smut preferences: Steve is very much in love with Diana and the idea of getting involved with anyone else is just wrong for him, even if she comes from an earlier point in time and doesn't remember their time together. Still feels like cheating to him. Until they work things out and get together I am open to some light flirting and possibly smooching, but expect him to feel terribly guilty and depressed afterwards. Not looking for romance or smut with anyone other than Diana though, fair warning.

● about: A NORMAL HUMAN BEING~~... and she's an idol back home. She sings, she dances, goes on TV and radio shows. Mostly serious-faced, studious young girl who's usually honest and straightforward. She flusters and loses her composure easily though - sometimes over compliments, cute things, strawberries, calling her by first name, calling out her childish side, etc. She doesn't like being treated like a child. Her parents found her too reliable and left Arisu to her own devices most of the time and ultimately, she wound up feeling very lonely. From the canon point she was taken from, she never got a chance to ask her parents to watch her perform.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Building up CR - positive and negative!
● what plans you have for this character: I would like her to get to know her roommates better and others outside of her housing floor. Some day down the line, I want her to get into the entertainment industry/WORK HER WAY INTO STARDOM AND PUBLISH HER OWN MUSIC. She also got some cover song ideas from Peter. She's a normal human, so maybe have her learn some self-defense or powers (if I accumulate AC Bonus points) some time in the future would be cool.
● shipping/smut preferences: She's a kiddo, so no smut. I'm fine with puppy crushes though.

● what your character wants: To sing, dance, and perform on the big stage again. Things to do. Learning new things. Friends and family. She misses home.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: He's always happiest when keeping busy and feeling useful, so I'm up for all the mission and exploring and action. But also keeping in touch with people, because he's not always the best at that.

● what plans you have for this character: most of my plans amount to "we need to be better friends" but he may be moving and/or starting a business in the near future (with mod approval ofc)
● shipping/smut preferences: he knows he's got a "soulmate" or what have you outside the walls, so he probably won't be interested in a committed relationship. but going on dates and casual stuff? sure. (also i tend to leave sex scenes implied instead of playing them out. if that's the direction we end up taking?) (worth noting he's got a Not-Dating-Not-Exclusive thing with taako rn but he's not a shady person so he wouldn't like... lie to prospective partners or something like that.)

● threading preferences: I have a mild preference for prose over brackets, simply because brackets are more difficult to type with my obnoxiously tiny fingers. I don't treat them any different, tbh. I have no preference for past/present tense, I don't care if it's prose or brackets.

I tend to do prose for logs and action brackets for network stuff - but I also tend to match style so it is basically whatever. My tags are longer in logs, I do not expect others to match that for any reason, and it does mean that they tend to take longer than network comments.

● threading habits: I am currently super behind, but normally I like to clear my inbox about once a day. I tend to only boomerang with Australians, because what is time. Peak threading time: 3-5 am.

● about you: I am pretty boring tbh. I'm a music fanatic, and always open to rec's. I petsit for a living and have a dog, so if you add me on plurk you'll get animal pics. That's about the height of my excitement. I usually only post RP/fandom related things on my RP plurk when I can help it. I try to keep my personal plurk to a pretty small audience, because more serious stuff like family and health drama comes up there, it's mostly people I've already known 8+ years.

Some info you should check out either way.

The short of it: Ed is rather mellow and laid back, he's older and not as quick to jump to the defensive as his canon counterparts. Having been in this sort of situation before (strange new unknown world) he is one to help out when he can, but considering the new environment and his natural tendency to self-preservation he's being very cautious about it for now. He's keeping an eye on anyone he recognizes from previous worlds, even if just to try to stay away from their bad side, but overall he's a well meaning trustworthy person who has a tendency to make other people's business his own. He doesn't necessarily open up or trust easy, but he's quick to make friends and was frequently looked up to or put "in charge" a lot when shit hit the fan previously.

Ed's pretty handy, repairs and making shit out of thin air are totally his thing.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Personal relationships, mostly. Communal Floor Six Shenanigans, etc.
I like to get him involved with people so I put him into situations where there are more people for that reason. Communal housing, helping around where he's probably not needed on the Perimeter Guard, offering to do repairs for total strangers, that sort of thing.

Ed's here for the ties that develop from the circumstances he's put into. I'm not really a slice of life type, so I tend to find him more to do that's plot related or action based but I also have no confidence whatsoever in my action tags so he kind of just hangs in the middle, doing a little of everything tbh.

He will be getting himself into all sorts of things, between research, exploring this place, missions that come up and just over plot events in general.

● what plans you have for this character: Ed is always open to new CR that would be interested in research or going out to make new discoveries. There will be opportunities to join in on an adventure regarding these things, so characters interested can hit me up any time. I originally had something slated once a month, but as the game progresses that looks less realistic to pull off.

Probably canon updating him before the memory share event, which has been in plan since early August.

Ed and Al are going to be expanding the General Store into the property next door, which they're going to convert into an apartment for themselves.

● shipping/smut preferences: September has taught me that Ed's heart belongs to Purg, whoops.

● what your character wants: To figure out if this place is what it says on the tin. Research, exploring, adventure etc. Selfishly, also for Al not to go home, but you know how that works.

● what your character needs: Sparring partners, to find more people with prosthesis so he can stop being a paranoid mess about his own, to learn about the 900 mechanics and engineers this game has, actual friends... He'll totally relax if he figures this actually isn't some crazy new trap, and actually focus on making friends and living here since that's something he learned to do in Purg before being uprooted in the first place. Clearly also to make friends with more people with pokemon, so he feels less like an outlier over that. And of course, everything stated above.

● about: Lola is a tiny little ball of emotions and energy. She loves people and wants everyone to feel good about themselves. Unless they choose that top with those jeans then she would suggest they would feel better in a nicer outfit. She really means well she's just... kind of a mess.

Short version of why she's a mess her mom left when she was younger, her dad doted on her after that. All she wants is to be loved and usually her friends kinda... forget she has feelings. Oh yeah and she got an abortion a little bit before arriving in the game. And on top of this she's feeling abandoned and angry cause her best friend basically did everything Lola hates in the world.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Um, all of it. Right now she's all set-up for slice of life CR building but I'm looking for ways to branch her out.
● what plans you have for this character: Lola just gained a power that might let her be useful in adventuring logs, she needs help learning how to control it and use it. Also just generally making friends and flirting with cute people. Cause that's how Lola rolls.

● about: Shigeru is basically a mute mysophobe with semi-good social skills. He’s got a really big heart and often tries to help out anyone and everyone that he can?! He’s very good at cooking, due to not really liking to eat food prepared by others, and he’s pretty great at drawing. He’s a very adept artist which he also has as a small side job as well.

Shigeru’s powers are pretty nuts as well. He can basically heal and treat any wound/poison a person might have.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: exploration and maybe some shippy things now. Otherwise the SOL is pretty good for him!

● what plans you have for this character: Not much. Just normal everyday things and him trying to figure out his love life?! He is so confused, please someone help him…

● shipping/smut preferences: Right now it’s like between Genji and Dodger. I’m dyin cause he is literally so unsure on how to even proceed with either of them, hence the needing help part. He's way too pure for this sort of thing. But Shigeru as a character is pretty much hard to really...do smut with because of his phobia in general. Unless he's really comfortable with your character that is. That aside! I am totally okay with most smut/kink things but like I said it's...hard with Shigeru.

● what your character wants: Get over his phobia is the major thing for him. He’d also want to learn about all the other planets out there and people’s cultures and lifestyles back home as he’s pretty intrigued by it.

● what your character needs: More outgoing CR. Maybe people to introduce him to new and exciting things! More doctor CR with fellow medical/healer type people would be cool too! And of course someone to help him with his life choices and choosing between Genji or Dodger tbh.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: exploring the social aspects AND the world exploration aspects. he's got fighting skills, can heal, and will want to figure out why fate has put him on this world.
● what plans you have for this character: I plan to use his part-time job to help him build connections, hopefully get him on the roster for a mission or two, and just try to get him settled and work through things from canon.
● shipping/smut preferences: OTA for shipping, but no smut, he's underage after all. he's also extremely awkward as hell with girls, so anything happening there will be on accident or with the girl being the initiator.
