i) [Genos excels at fighting monsters; he is, in fact, a professional when it comes to monster related combat. Naturally, when the question was raised, he volunteered to help in the tunnels. Unfortunately, particuarly for those fighting in any reasonable proximity to the cyborg, Genos is very enthusiastic and single-minded in combat. His fighting style is explosive, in more ways than one, and while heavy (borderline reckless) use of flamethrowers is a perfectly acceptable method of combat above ground, it is less than ideal underground.
In close quarters.
With flammable objects/people nearby.
The first monsters Genos runs across are incinerated promptly and, without delay, the cyborg continues on leaving only piles of ash and charred bone in his wake. His attacks are efficient and devastating but, as he continues to seek the creatures out and eliminate them, the general atmosphere around him and in the adjacent tunnels becomes progressively warmer. In fact, the speed with which the local area is heating up is mildly alarming.]
ii) [Genos is not a scientist. Certainly, he is keen and clever, but he is unfamiliar with this city, the technology herein, and the state of things as they should be. He would not know where to begin repairing anything and to that end is mostly useless for reconstruction.
Fortunately, Genos is both very strong and very fast; he has absolutely no qualms about running supplies or carrying heavy loads and does so with a level of dedication that is a touch unsettling. It might be a bit jarring to receive a delivery from a six-foot-tall, severe looking, creepy cyborg, but at least he's a very polite creepy cyborg. And your delivery is on time...so there is also that.]
