In retrospect, Cecelia should have known better than to come into this glass box that moves. She comes from a time and place without them, and therefore has a healthy suspicion of them. The stairs suit her just fine, especially since she only lives on the second floor. But with the electricity acting strange, the stairwell had no lighting and even with her werewolf senses, she couldn't see up the stairs.
And now she's here -- all 5'2" of her with this giant man (no one from home is this tall!) -- reaching out a hand towards the wall of the elevator for balance. She's not used to the shift to her balance that an elevator gives.
"No... no, surely not." She looks up at the roof of the box and wishes for the lights to turn back on. It seems quite improper to be alone with a man in such a confined space, but again, she should have thought of that before getting into the elevator.
