Serious and subdued, he looks over his gun while the truck bounces over the bumpy trail through the jungle, and when they disembark the truck, he slams his fist against the shield a few times, pumping himself up before heading into the tunnels.

Kay will be throwing his all into the fight, and if you get in a tight spot, expect him to cover you with his shield, or call out with a strong German accent to ask for backup himself.]

[It's right near the end of the line when the SkyTram grinds to a halt. The only sound from the other occupant, a quiet man with a black eye, as the lights flicker and the vehicle sways slightly, is a deep sigh. Silence drags on, and then Kay is fishing in the inner pocket of his black leather jacket to pull out a joint/cigarette from it, then cracks one of the high windows open and leans against the wall. Lighting up, he takes a puff and exhales out the window.

It isn't till he's had a few drags that he raises a brow at the other occupant of the car and offers a half-smile somewhere between cocky and unconcerned, and speaks with a strong German accent.]

[Kay is lying on his back in one of the beds in Communal Housing, the phone obviously held high over his head, looking less than impressed with basically everything. He should probably be happy for the really fresh start, but he's not really happy with much anymore.

Except one thing. Thus this post. When he speaks, he drawls, his accent thick, sounding more than a little tired.]

[This is Kay in his natural habitat. He might be a riot cop, a fighter, something of an athlete, but a gay club is where he really belongs. On the dance floor, lost in booze and the beat, moving smooth and certain. And he's more than willing to reach out and catch his hand at the back of the neck of anyone he's even moderately attracted to, pull them in for a dance.]

Kay will be out and about in the city, exploring, checking out bars, running in the mornings, hanging around in the public areas of Communal Housing, including smoking on the balcony or staring out over the city.
