● about: Katsura is a samurai, war veteran, and anti-government rebel that loves to squish the paws of various animals and can frequently be found in a variety of weird disguises. He can kick a lot of ass when he needs to, but for the most part he's just an idiot. That said, he's personable, calm, and friendly enough most of the time, so he plays easily off a huge variety of different character types.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Missions and exploration!
● what plans you have for this character: For now, just getting him settled in. He'll also be putting out feelers to figure out what folks in charge are really like and, if necessary, starting his own little anti-government cell here as well... but I don't expect him to find much in terms of corruption.
● shipping/smut preferences: Yes to both, for M/F and M/M! That said, Katsura is not a one-night-stands kind of guy so don't expect much actual smut outside established relationships.

● what your character wants: To dote on every single adorable critter in all of Riverview.

Hmm, anti-government cell, you say?

Heya! I'm Vel with Tim Drake, who is currently technically working for the government as community youth ambassador-- and also may have taken the job to see if it'll get him a backdoor into the systems. :'D That being said, everything's aboveboard as far as he can tell. Does Katsura have a personal reason to be anti-government or is it more of general paranoia?

Heya, Vel! Katsura has very, very personal reasons for being anti-government, which have spiraled into a generalized distrust of anyone with too much power and not enough balances. But overall he's not not opposed to every form of government, just poorly maintained ones.

If I'm remembering my Drake facts correctly (I admittedly know way more about Grayson) I think Katsura is more likely to approach Tim than the other way around! That said, I'm not sure how sneaky Tim is being in this particular instance. Katsura is observant and elusive when it suits him, but also has the subtlety of a brick if you catch him off guard. Basically, I'm not sure who you think is most likely to notice and approach the other first, but I can work with either option!

Sounds like he's been through a lot, then! Tim can appreciate the sense in trying to put down a bad government. Preferably when he's not caught up in it, usually, but hey. :'D

Dick's shaped a lot of who Tim was as Robin, so it probably doesn't hurt to know a bit! Hmm, Tim's the observant type for sure, and since he's been dropped in this whole new world, pretty nosy. Is Katsura doing anything particularly suspicious or interesting? Staring too hard at government buildings? Trying to infiltrate one in the dead of night? I don't know much about Katsura, but unfortunately, Tim hasn't managed to secure a cute critter ~~yet~~ to attract his attention, so not sure if he'd find anything Tim's doing approach-worthy. :oa Tim's just exploring a lot to make a mental map of the city and get his body used to it. He might peek around the perimeter? He'd be in costume, then, though, not his youth ambassador thing. c:

It sounds like we may be in luck! Katsura will absolutely be sneaking around in the dead of night trying to spy on and investigate various places, so they could easily meet that way! Either Tim could catch him sneaking around, or Katsura catch Tim sneaking around. Or they could even run into each other while trying to sneak around the same place, if you want something that puts them both on the spot.

Awesome! I've got an open log up for Tim's exploration, but I can hit one of Katsura's if he has any! :D

I have a teenage Viking warrior who is angry, bitter, psychopathic, but also loves all the critters too. He has three Pokemon, and due to some power upgrades, can morph into cute animals as well to spy on people.

He sounds like he's going to be Katsura's best friend and doesn't realize it yet.

So, I glanced at Ivar's stats page and right off the top of my head, I think the easiest ways for them to run into each other would be...

- Katsura sees Ivar with any of his Pokemon (but particularly Blitzle) and decides he has to touch it right that second.
- Katsura sees Ivar himself in one of his forms (especially the dog, cat, squirrel, or habbit) and decides he has to touch him right that second.

Naturally, I'm also open to them meeting under more normal circumstances and Katsura learning about the creature related bonuses later, but I feel like most of those would be less immediate (though probably also less potentially inflammatory) than 'Katsura can't control himself around soft critters'. Either way, though, if Katsura decides that Ivar is trustworthy he'd absolutely ask him to use his morphing skills for spying purposes, if that's something you were interested in exploring!

Awesome! I am up for either of those. If you'd like to do anything this month, I have both prompts on my monthly log post that have his Pokemon out in the park or Ivar morphed into one of his critters.
