● about you: been doing this for too long, but returning to games in the last few months. new here with clary and trying to give her some depth etc. idk. mostly i live in the mcu.

● about: fresh from watching her father murder jace (who is in the city, but from a time he thinks she's his sister still). she's a shadowhunter/fighter of monsters. she's pretty much a walking ray of sunshine filled with angel blood that's keen to make the most of her new life here. she's been training to fight. she's covered in runes that would normally activate and enhance her abilities. here she's just trying to get back to being the artist she was training to be before life changed.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: extending her emotionally and adding depth through cr and exploring different aspects of her personality.
● what plans you have for this character: just give me all of the cross-canon. all of the gen interactions. give me awkward crushes and dates. give me action. give me parental types that can look out for her. give me more robinfam for her to run into.
● shipping/smut preferences: i'm pretty open if the chemistry is there, but have a preference for f/m.

● what your character wants: ways to work through the emotional mess she has found herself in. ways to "move on" (wink, wink).

Almost forgot to say that I'd really like to get her out of communal housing if anyone wants to talk housemate/roommate shenanigans.

Okay so this might be dumb, but: Katherine McNamara is my live-action PB for Ava here. I don't play that as "looks exactly like Clary" but more in the "vaguely similar, could be mistaken from a distance" sort of way.

And Ava is also an artist. And trying to move on from her boyfriend that got murdered. So if you're interested, they could be interesting. And also terrible, probably. Two strong-willed redheads in close proximity, who knows what will happen?

Oh, okay. Cool. As soon as I saw the live action PB on a post I admit I was planning to stay clear because I don't always like playing the face twins angle.

Yeah, I mean clearly they have a lot in common. We can always try it and see how it goes.

If that's your preference I totally can respect that!

I have no objection to people who play facetwins as exact but for me it always seems a bit... meta? Like it's basically based on acknowledging "these two characters used the same actor". So I tend to keep it vague, and more like that trope of the guy looking for the girl, and thinks he sees her but she turns around and it's someone similar but clearly not the Right person.

So if you wanna try and keep it as not exact and see what happens I'd be down for it, but if not that's fair too. :)

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about it. I understand it in some situations and I can see why people enjoy playing it, but it's not something I've enjoyed outside a bit of silly fun in a meme or something. But that trope is fair enough and it works.

Like I said, willing to try.
