another new face

Hello Riverview! kc here, bringing in Victor Nikiforov, 5 time world champion men's singles figure skater, from Yuri!!! On Ice. Mostly this means he can ice skate really, really good. Really good. He's a CRAU from Eluvio, so he's seen some space and has had his world views pretty heavily shaken already; Riverview is a stable paradise by comparison.

He's in community housing on the 7th floor, sharing a room with Yuuri Katsuki, and is slated to be a Program Director for figure skating and Riverview Central Community Center. I predict this will go terribly because he's not equipped to handle designing programs for people not at top level, which means I'm really looking forward to that stress/frustration spilling over into other parts of his life.

Though if anyone's got a character game for adding a figure skater on for self-defense training, let me know! You can find me over on plurk @

Oh no another skater friend! I volunteer Steve here to... uh. Not skate. But he can help with the defense-training too?

i personally am now laughing imagining steve rogers figure skating but it's for beautiful reasons

however, victor could definitely be helped with defense-training if steve's up for working with a post-ussr collapse russian federation world class athletic hero of russia

STEVE, HIS HERO do you want Victor to end up asking about this ICly or tumbling into looking for a trainer through... osmosis as he now knows Yuri P has been training in self defense and apparently fighting monsters in streets and in tunnel systems his rinkmate's all grown up and going into scary places help

The man is built like a brick, okay. He has a great figure for tumbling and vault but figure skating isssss probably not the best plan. although Steve in an American flag themed skating outfit sounds amazing.

Whichever works better for you! I'm going to tag around in the event log or we can just assume Victor hears about the training via the small tiger boy.
