Today I am bringing you recently inducted badass, yogurt addict, and friend to all doggos Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle. That the YA series about psychics, sleeping Welsh kings, rich private school boys with dream magic and... friendship?? Blue Sargent is one of the main protagonists and the daughter of a long line of psychics -- without actually being one herself. Bummer.

She does, though, make energy stronger and is thus often referred to as a human battery (or a mirror, but that's a lot more complicated than it needs to be.).

I love cross-canon stuff, too! Also I have to admit I'm curious now if Blue's amplification would impact Cisco's powers? 🤔 He is a metahuman, but some of his powers are awfully psychic-like (visions of the future / other timelines, psychometry, seeing into other universes etc.). It's an interesting thing to think about anyway!

oooh, I've always enjoyed playing with her amplification and other types of magic, it's such a fun thing!
(and the magic explanations in trc leave A Lot of wiggle room, but i digress.)

I think that would be a really interesting thing to explore with them and Blue would be especially interested in the more psychic side of his powers. Make her feel a little closer to home lol

Yeah, the explanations of metahuman powers are similarly very vague so I feel like if we wanted to go that route (that she amplifies his psychic powers at least) we definitely could.

Awesome! Cisco knows Ronan and Adam a little, though neither of them have talked too much about Blue (they're pretty tight-lipped about stuff from back home). Were you planning on having a top level at the mingle post? I also have an open post at the moment if any of the prompts there are of interest!

I'd love to explore that, Blue's never met another person with psychic powers aside from her family. i think it'll be fun! We can iron out all the fine details together.
