personality-wise, finn is on the high-strung, never-really-relaxes side for the most part. he can be salty and argumentative. a lot of his life turns into Yelling. he can be weirdly intense about everything but he's also really sincere and cares about a lot of stuff! he forms attachments fast and hard and he's ride or die for life once he gets there. big on actively suppressing his trauma and anxiety and resentments instead of processing them. love that. great at being a soldier, always working on being a Finn.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: i'm not looking for any one thing in particular. i've mostly wound up doing character-building and CR-building since i apped! but i'm into action/missions stuff, slice of life, bonding, the whole shebang. i like throwing spaghetti at the wall.
● what plans you have for this character: as far as i know i don't have anything specific officially hammered out for him in the near future right now! i'm super winging it.
● shipping/smut preferences: no real preferences. i'd say casual/light/one-time stuff would arguably be best for finn rn, who has never dipped toes in this particular water. this month/event is like the most eligible toe-dipping opportunity he's had in-game to date tbh. he doesn't tend to be actively seeking these things out and is largely a disaster.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Getting her to acclimate with a new setting that is very alien to her. Her whole life has been a fight, so learning how to socialize and be a person is all very new.
● what plans you have for this character: Just getting her involved and meet people! She'll be at the Guard + military hangout thing that Sam Wilson is setting up.
● shipping/smut preferences: F/F (guys can hit on her but she won't be very receptive to that at all). Rey is very confused about her sexuality, and has complicated feelings about intimacy in general. If something comes up, I'd expect it to be slow burn, mostly because she's a virgin and sex terrifies her. Most advances would go over her head unless someone is being very straightforward, and she's slow to understand her own feelings.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: At the moment, everything - Makoto's likely to be the character I explore the more slice of life stuff with if only because her ambitions are a little more mundane but that's not to say she can't end up roped into plot stuff (especially via the people she knows)
● what plans you have for this character: At the moment, Makoto is just adjusting and settling into a new educational environment. She will want to explore exactly what she needs to do in order to join the police force here because while going back is an option, it's far enough away and she's pragmatic enough to know that she might as well make full use of the time she has here.
● shipping/smut preferences: Not looking for smut; in terms of shipping it's something that would have to be a slow burn because it's not something Makoto is necessarily prioritising. Canonically the (male) protagonist is the only person she shows confirmed interest in but I feel like for Makoto what matters most is who the person is so nothing's likely to develop before she's solidified friendship.

Also, because my rp time/energy has been more limited lately, I've come to realize that I prioritize plot-heavy or emotional threads where we've planned the general course of events. I do enjoy chit-chat, 'let's throw these characters at each other and see what happens threads,' too! But they're usually the ones that slip through the cracks when my schedule ramps up.
● threading habits: Eastern time zone, generally available on weekdays in the morning and afternoon. Evenings and weekends are hit or miss for me, at best. SO BASICALLY MY AVAILABILITY IS THE OPPOSITE OF MOST PEOPLE'S. If I'm in the zone, I can boomerang. Otherwise, I'm usually picking at tags between work/errands/etc, so I can be sporadic.

● about: Kylo's an angry overgrown child with too much power, who-- as a Skywalker, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, and the grandson of Darth Vader-- was basically born with a giant target sign on his back. He wants to be just like grandpa, and he spent a good chunk of his life being groomed by his creepy ex-master. He's also been canon updated through The Last Jedi, so now he's Supreme Leader of the First Order, thinks his mom's dead, fell hard for Rey and then went through baby's first breakup after he totally offered her the galaxy!!!, and is generally an even bigger mess than before.

He's also a huge nerd underneath his COOL GOTHIC WARDROBE, takes after his father more than he'd ever admit, has serious anger management problems (which often lead to violence), and spent so long living like a space monk that he's weirdly sheltered in some respects, and thus has been branching out more while in Quarantine.

He also has a tendency to kill, or at least try to kill, his father figures, so. Dads beware???

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: ACTION, EXPLORATION, ADVENTURE, long-term cr building, growth, finding a home, etc. So basically I'm game for pretty much everything.
● what plans you have for this character: My ultimate goal with Kylo is to get him to extricate himself from the First Order, give the entire galactic conflict the finger, and make his own life, independent of the fights of the past, his lineage, etc etc etc. And then, after that, he might start on the slow path to redemption. In-game, he's already realized that he has no interest in returning home, and wants to stay in this galaxy, but doesn't really know how to go about with his next steps. For now, he's kind of giving lip service to being Supreme Leader (sup, Hux), and he's still lashing out at Resistance folks, but it's more for reactionary, personal reasons than for the ~glory of the First Order~.

Also he got shot several times in the beginning of February and spent that whole month laying low. Now that he's recovered, I want to get him out there more and get him on the right path to moving forward with his long-term arc.

I'd also like to do more with his job at Prometheus, so I'm gonna try to make a post soon recruiting for the Knights of Ren 2.0 salvaging team. I figure once there's a small team of adventurers, we can do some missions.

Which means that by process of elimination, Holdo is the closest thing to a potential confidante here. Sure, they're on opposing sides of a galactic conflict, but she's the only person on the moon who knew Ben Solo that he isn't currently nursing a whole heap of issues against.

Plus she's dead and not going back to their galaxy anyway.
