● threading preferences: i have an easier time with brackets over prose, but i'm okay matching either. i end up doing a lot more action than network, which i'm trying to balance out a little with the friendr meme/etc. for lighter, easier cr-starting!
● threading habits: EST timezone. i'm more available on afternoons/evenings/weekends (and coming soon to a computer near you, summer break ig). i do run on the slow side, which i always try to be upfront about on these memes. i try to hit things back every 2-3 days, and hit time-sensitive/important developmental stuff faster. i swear it doesn't mean that i'm not excited to be threading! i love all my threads. which is why i also backtag into eternity, and i'm happy to prioritize/boomerang to the best of my ability on any thread as desired or required.
● about you: idk fam. uhhh i'm 26 and a lunch lady. science fiction owns my ass. i mostly talk about fandom stuff and rp! feel free to add me on plurk or discord, i don't bite.

● residence: chillin in an apartment with poe dameron.
● about: finn was raised to be a soldier for Star Wars Bad Guys Mk. II, only to take a hard swerve on shooting unarmed civilians his first couple of times out. lifetime of indoctrination and brainwashing who???? too busy being a good (traumatized) person brent. he did the defector thing, made some friends, ended up with the resistance in spite of all his original plans?? he turns down for what for the rebellion now, it's wild. he maybe has a preexisting issue with assigning himself value as a person.
personality-wise, finn is all intense, all the time. doesn't matter what the emotion is! he's 100% on. it's happening. a predilection towards opinionated yelling under stress. usually very serious and uptight, not especially great in social situations, served on a bed of fresh anxiety. he's 0-100 ride or die for the people he cares about and usually quick to help someone out if he sees they need it! inspirational sometimes. very team-oriented. trying very very hard. has a gr8 smile and should use it more. for more info, you're welcome to scope out his app and supplementary canon info (a little image heavy)!
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: i've got an interest in all of the game aspects, though getting properly into exploratory/missions stuff has been a harder trick to pull off! he's good at what he does and i'm always interested in doing more with that. i really love character-building and cr-building, too!
● what plans you have for this character: his plans for the rest of april include Saving Teammates vol. 1 and My Boss Is Turning Into Something Scaly. i'm always into plotting things out for the future! he hasn't done nearly enough impulsive well-meaning (yet stupid) shit in-game yet, hmu.
● shipping/smut preferences: open to playing m/f and m/m, and after sampremi finn is tentatively open to possibilities! he has almost zero life experience but he's sincere and enthusiastic. and very bad at flirting.
it's important to note here that at this juncture, clearly-communicated casual arrangements are more the aim than anything serious (so think fwbs, one-night things, chill dates). i'm not against serious ships overall! but he's his own brand of disaster and not in a good place for hardcore romance rn. i promise his platonic fwb-cherishing is exactly as ride or die intense as romantic cherishing would be anyway tbh. he attaches easy. open to plot stuff out, see what happens.
● what your character wants: to watch out for his people, more friends, to Live, to try to get better at being a person while he has this free bingo space of time, to go home and Win The War, etc. PERSONAL FREEDOM.
● what your character needs: every friend, ever. to learn to deal with his various traumas/stresses instead of actively suppressing them. a nap, some fun, to see videos of tortoises eating cherry tomatoes... maybe some hugs idk. i'd say he needs to learn to relax but that's a super distant dream.

edits to say i just saw your toplevel on the exploration log and i could tag that if you'd rather do more of an action thread instead! finn's got stuff going on in this last half of april that wouldn't land him on an exploration party, but since the mingle covers to may 15th, we could possibly forward-date a thread on that front?

i think they'd be rly cute fwbs/chill date pals and i'd be down for that. i've really been enjoying our threads and i feel like these two bounce off of each other well!! and finn definitely likes her already tbh. Let Them Have Fun 2k18
the next couple of weeks are gonna be kind of a preoccupied Concern zone for him, but i definitely plan to keep backtagging on what we've got going while that's a thing! maybe they could run into each other again or he could straight up text her when the danger zone is officially over with? he's gonna try to flirt on purpose at some point and it's gonna be an experience
