● occupation: Detective with the Riverview Police Department
● residence: an apartment with Cisco Ramon and his cat Shadow
● about: stats + permissions; Eddie in Riverview; Eddie is an observant, cocky, quick-thinking, decisive police detective with a heart of gold and a massive hero complex. ...and despite all that stuff about him being smart, he's also kind of a ditz when it comes to science and pop culture. He's not terribly creative either, and can be a bit passive-aggressive, but he's very good-natured and will definitely take a bullet to protect you even if he doesn't know you. He's been in Riverview for just over a year, but he's still got a few issues that he's working through related to his death and his self-worth. He's not planning to go home.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building, especially found family and friendships. Eddie is mostly my slice-of-life character, he'll do action inside the city with police stuff, but he's not big on exploring or missions. Hit me up if you need police intervention!
● what plans you have for this character: Mostly, I just really want to develop more friendships and found family, or find people for him to be competitive with.
● shipping/smut preferences: Eddie is happily and monogamously taken.

● what your character wants: People to take care of. Things to do. Friends. Found family. A team.
● what your character needs: All of the above. Plus therapy, probably. Also, Eddie isn't the typical 'stoic' type at all, but he uses his friendliness and cheerfulness and eagerness to help as a shield, and really needs people who are willing to push past that. He's got a lot of really nasty lingering issues related to the failure of his relationship, his two-week kidnapping in canon, and his death. His instinct is to brush them off or stop talking about them ASAP, so some close CR that will push him to open up about his feelings would be absolutely spectacular. It might not be pretty because Eddie is bad at dealing with his own negative feelings, but it's something he really needs.
