● threading preferences: it honestly depends im equally happy firing off stupid network threads as i am writing eight paragraphs of prose, brackets or non, you could say im vers
● threading habits: im in PST but tend to tag in the PM - currently jobseeking so ive got an uncharacteristically fast response time these days but thats... hopefully going to change at some point? i really dont mind backtagging, ill do it forever
● about you: my main method of media consumption is dnd podcasts but ive been playing uncharted for the first time lately

● occupation: barista at the coffee shop -- they've never heard of a barista until now
● residence: community housing floor 12 communal
● about: i have an info page with basics about their universe and their role in it as well as some appearance notes -- they wear a lot less makeup than kiersey clemons does but what can ya do. tl;dr version: they're the latest in a succession of gods that were born with a singular power to Tether things up to and including worlds together. they're very glad to be on the quarantine because their curating of worlds includes Destruction of less desirable ones and they have some misgivings about that, since it led a friend of theirs (the previous Destroyer) to take his life. also they're a bigender they/them using individual.
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: they're not averse to helping out in general since they can essentially create lasting warps anywhere that anyone can use, but im kinda digging the slice of life feel these days? is my oc shippable? can you ship with them? i dont know these things
● what plans you have for this character: right now they're kinda getting to know people and id like to establish some good cr, theyve already opened up a lot during memoria and have a good impression of people like lucretia and elizabeth weir but theyre also feeling kind of vulnerable due to the whole... memoria thing opening some Old Wounds. there's also been a lot of "i learned to boil water today" hijinks because they are Very Sheltered and being a barista is certainly eye opening for them.
● shipping/smut preferences: i enjoy.... shipping............ i do not do smut but open to ftb should a thread call for it
● what your character wants: a variety of people! theyre endlessly intrigued by the stories of people from different worlds. they like hearing folk tales and the like, and life stories are always exciting. they want people who dont feel obligated to worship the ground they walk on.
● what your character needs: they still need to work through their complicated feelings about their role. they're sort of embracing the quarantine as an escape and already admitted to not planning to return to where they're from, but they still feel a bit... guilty about that, deep inside. they're abandoning a whole universe, essentially, and need the same empathy extended to them that they offer to others
of course id also love for more people to yell at them about how destroying worlds is fucked up

the tetherer is certainly not quite experienced on being questioned on such things, especially not in such an opinionated way, since its what theyve been taught all their life and the culture of the nexus sort of worships their role in the whole process
but they do enjoy hearing differing viewpoints and i could certainly see their cr being very interesting, im excited that you want to keep it going, i wanna see where they end up kjdfngk

If you want someone who can just be really good at listening and not understanding anything but the emotions going on, I also have Lola who is a tiny mundane teenager way out of her depth but she super tries.

ok destruction powers may be something tetherer would *eyes emoji* at pretty hard. it doesnt fall under their jurisdiction, because they mainly set up teleports and links between worlds and keep them from being lost to the sheer number of them that exist, but they were very close with the previous person who had the job of destroying the worlds and he was the source of the tetherer's misgivings about their role
namely if youve got destruction powers and youre unhappy about them, they are yours
and the tetherer is sort of out of their depth in their own way, being very sheltered their whole life due to being born into their role as a god so they can super vibe with lola even though theyre not a teenager (theyre in their thirties, they just look young...)
