You know, considering their differing views on magic, and how Chase is sort of like...an embodiment of everything that's wrong with 'all the mages back home' I really think these two should meet!

Dorian's never been a mentor, he's never even seen himself as someone someone else could look up to (he's still sort of young for that), but Dorian is a full-time researcher at Gramarye, and I think this would be a splendid way for them to meet, especially since Dorian is currently working on developing illusion magic that works with his form of magic.

Oh man YES. I'd love to get into these clashing views on magic, since Chase really could use as much exposure as he can get to different perspectives on magic, from other magic users. Gramarye's definitely a good way to get them meeting, and that project could even be up Chase's alley, since he shows himself to be pretty capable with illusions in the movie. I'm all for this!

This needs to happen. A lot. So much.
