+1 Fresh meat player and a grumpy magic doctor character!

Hello everybody!

My name is Nueva and I am a brand spanking new player bringing you a character that some of you might know: Mister Doctor Strange. For those that don't know him, let me introduce him in a few words: magic hands grumpy doctor with shiny green gem that bends time dressed in awesome sentient red cloak not cape. Okay, that was more than a few words, I admit it.

Just a quick note, Stephen will be coming in from somewhere near the end of the Infinity War movie, so if you want me to avoid spoilers with your characters, let me know here, and I'll be extra careful when tagging your character!

I've heard a lot of great things about this game and I am really excited to play here! I'll introduce Dr. Strange tomorrow, but in the mean time, feel free to add me on plurk @ nuevayuimaxwell for plotting and chatting!

Excellent! Steve loves getting return sass tbh. That's... probably why he gets along with Loki in a way, so there you go. The sarcasm duo. I look forward to all the sidelong glances about his dating choices.

Either way is really fine with me too! I can have Steve pester him again if you want to start new? He doesn't know about Stephen and Loki's interactions so he'll be blissfully ignorant either way.

I have to admit that I am completely canonblind on your character, but if they are similar, it can go either really well, or really bad XD But either way it goes, I'm sure it'll be interesting!

Oh, it's well worth it. Kim (the Alex player) got me hooked on it.

It's very 'War of the Worlds' in the way it's done, but it's about a podcaster who is working on a story about a supernatural debunker (Strand). While in his office for her initial visit she sees a shelf of what look like black VHS tapes that he tells her are something he calls black tapes and they're cases of the supernatural that he hasn't been able to debunk. So the podcast ends up being about trying to explore the tapes and just, falls down the rabbit hole of demons, sacred geometry and cults from there.

Nice to meet you Selina! I've read the first Shadowhunter book a long, long time ago, and watched the first season on Netflix when it came out, so I'm mildly familiar with Alec's canon! Stephen will certainly be interested in Alec's magic and how it works for sure! They should compare notes at some point lol

Nice to meet you! Magnus would be the one who he should discuss magic with, (Alec knows a little but that's mostly theoretical knowledge) but I'm sure Stephen would think a guy covered in mystical symbols would be interesting even if it's in the 'why would someone do that?' way.

Weird bit of trivia since I'm a Marvel fan too... Alec's runes exist in the Marvel universe. I've always wanted someone from Marvel to react to them and know them. Not sure how Jace's player would feel about that but the idea's always amused me that runes are in some random book the SSR had.

I did not know that! That's really interesting! And I'd totally be up to play with that! If the runes exist in the MCU verse, there's a good chance they also can be found either at the Kamar-Taj library, or the Sanctum one. Either way, it wouldn't be a far stretch to say that Stephen has studied them, and could recognize them on Alec?
