● threading preferences: i prefer brackets over prose, and i do a lot more log stuff than network stuff, but i don't mind network stuff or anything. it just shakes out that way. i go between longer and shorter tags depending on the thread, and i try not to be too serious with my bracket text? but yeah, i just sort of do whatever feels right for the thread idk.
● threading habits: i'm in EST and tag more at night than any other time. i'll backtag for a good long while, and my speed tends to fluctuate! i'm willing to fast-track/boomerang threads as wanted or needed (or if it's just easier to think for them), and i'm trying to hold onto a 1-2 day turnaround on tagging back! i end up slowing down and falling more behind from time to time, though. if i'm ever taking too long and you need something handled or hashed out faster, i promise i don't bite and it's always okay to tell me so!
● about you: uhhh i'm a cafeteria worker and i poke around with a handful of fandoms here and there. sci-fi is usually a big seller with me! star trek, star wars, stargate, etc. idk there are a lot of things i'm interested in. people are free to add me on plurk! i mostly plurk about rp. i shitpost and joke around a lot about stuff.

● occupation: perimeter guard (regular member and rr-1 unit)
● residence: chillin in a city apartment with poe dameron
● about: finn was raised to be cookie-cutter, serial-numbered stormtrooper by basically a big space murder cult looking to subjugate the galaxy, and he had a real knack for all the soldiering. until they were like "well don't forget the first order is more important than caring about teammates surviving, also your orders are to shoot all these unarmed civilians" and he had...... an Awakening. dun dun dun.
anyway, finn is an overall good person who gets attached fast and is inclined to help anyone in front of him who needs help. he's intense, has no chill, and tends to take things very seriously. after over half a year in game getting to just work on being a person, he's gained a modicum of chill? he's better at having fun, even if he's probably never gonna be the type of person who straight-up relaxes. finn is just 0-100 ride or die with a good heart and a penchant for arguing. has a pretty bad case of impostor's syndrome, pessimism, and waiting for second shoes to fall whenever things are good. he has a lot of trauma and issues that he's working really hard to sit on and ignore dealing with.
i've said it before and it's still accurate. he's like a mall pretzel. salty but ultimately Soft. he has an app in his journal with other info, and a supplementary canon page if you want any of those juicy backstory deets!
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: i enjoy toying around with all the game aspects for finn, but i definitely lean more towards slice of life and character development than the action-adventure and i'll admit that. pretty much down for anything!
● what plans you have for this character: right now i have nothing too specific lined up for him. i play a lot of stuff by ear! he is signed on for shuttle-flying lessons at the perimeter guard, that's about it? i've got an open schedule.
● shipping/smut preferences: open for m/f and m/m with finn! i'm fine writing smut or fading to black/handwaving depending on thread partner preferences. hookups, dates, fwbs, that's all totally chill with me. shipping is a liiittle more complicated with finn. like yeah he'd die for someone after 2 hours if they're nice to him and he'd probably marry half his cr if they asked because he's a disaster. but i don't think he's in a good place for actual committed serious stuff with all his other issues rn. so it's less about finding the right true love connection, and more about the fact that he's a mess at default, which doesn't make a gr8 foundation for legit romance. we're playing the long development game in this chili's tonight. i can't pretend otherwise.

● name: elizabeth weir
● age: 33
● occupation: public representative to the government of riverview
● residence: communal housing, floor 9, room 2
● about: elizabeth is a career diplomat turned civilian leader of an international scientific exploration expedition... type thing, that's hard to explain now that i'm here trying to explain it. the long story short of it is she's a leader who came here from living in the stargate version of the lost city of atlantis. and she is supremely in love with her city and being away from it for an increasingly longer period of time is a Bad Vibe for her.
elizabeth is well-spoken and educated, very experienced with negotiation and diplomacy, and very compassionate. after about 3 years of mission-minded living with atlantis and all the things that crop up there from week to week, she's still sort of adjusting to the small-talk, making friends she's not technically the boss of lifestyle. she's used to playing team mom and herding cats. ultimately she's very kind and a huuuuuge nerd who makes jokes that don't always land. she has respect for everyone going in, but once it's lost it's a hell of a hard time getting it back.
like idk, it's hard to explain. she's like a gryffindor in slytherin's clothing. all the eloquent, wily, political leanings in the world, and then sometimes she just goes balls to the wall and runs out of fucks to give, and brings a verbal beatdown to the party. and then if forced to leave atlantis for an indefinite amount of time, she spends a lot of time on the couch in yoga pants eating pizza and writing memoirs. a queen. there's an app in her journal with some more info!
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: we're here for character development and cr fam! i'm definitely interested in getting her a little more into the exploration side of things where applicable? she didn't get to do a ton of off-world mission stuff back home, but she does really love puzzles and linguistics and getting to see new things!
● what plans you have for this character: none pizza with left beef. all that's on the table rn is carnivale tagging, establishing/building a cr base, and her working through that whole kidnapped-by-cultists thing from june.
● shipping/smut preferences: open to m/f and f/f! cool with either writing out smut or handwaving/ftb depending on thread partner preferences. she's a lot more open for straight-up shipping than finn, but it's been a long-ass time since she sort of... did that... and she'd be very clear from the start that the second they get her a portal home she's Out. down for pretty much the whole ship/smut spectrum, though obviously shipping is a little more of an "if things develop that way" situation.
● what your character wants: a portal home to swan dive through, presumably.
