● threading preferences: Right now, I'm mostly focusing on network and inbox tags. Trying to keep things short and spammy because I don't have much time/energy at the moment for in-depth prose.
● threading habits: EST/EDT time zone. My current speed is "when I have a chance to actually sit at a computer," which, uh, AS OF RIGHT NOW seems to be Friday evenings and weekends. Sometimes I manage a few quick tags here and there during the day, too.
● about you: I'm currently doing an intensive training program that has me booked from 5 AM - 5 PM, and then I'm going to bed at 9 PM, soooo... THIS IS MY AVAILABILITY UNTIL THE END OF OCTOBER. I'm on hiatus right now, but I don't want to fall totally out of the loop for when I'm back (especially since my one and only character is so sociable), so I figure we can work out some handwaved and spammy interactions in the meantime!

● occupation: Teacher at Gramarye! No, he doesn't teach magic to the kids; he teaches basic subjects to the kids who can't/won't go to the regular school. SO THEY'RE NOT TOTALLY BEHIND THEIR PEERS.
● residence: A two-bedroom apartment he shares with his apprentice/surrogate daughter.
● about: Jeff's a wizard dad in a world where magic is out in the open-- or at least has been out in the open since the 1950s or something. And he's a bard! So he makes magic with music. Or he used to. Anyway, he was once a musician with dreams of becoming a big famous rockstar, and then that all went to shit and his life took a sharp turn in another direction. Now he's (amicably!) divorced, a high school history teacher, and he was living in the suburbs with his daughter until A CERTAIN MOON PORTAL TOOK HIM HERE. Jeff's pretty friendly and outgoing, and he alternates between being way too chill and way too panicky.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Slice of life stuff, primarily! Community building, making connections, being a friendly, outgoing dude. He's not great at any violent/crisis stuff, but he's a good, well-meaning person who wants to be active and helpful here in quarantine until he can get back home to his kid. I'm here for all the CR, positive, negative, and in-between.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing in particular atm. Just winging it. I'd like to eventually get into more of his dumpster fire of a past and how a lot of those issues still reverberate throughout his life today, but he doesn't tend to be super open about it unless it's relevant to something else happening.
LUCKILY, THE LAST EXPLORATION LOG DUMPED HIS PAST ALL OVER HIM, so it's actually relevant and on his mind now. Unluckily, I can't do any deep dive into it until like... November. But I'm all for touching on it to some capacity in the meantime, through spammy or network interactions.
● shipping/smut preferences: TAKEN and in that new romance honeymoon period.
● what your character wants: To get back home ASAP!! But in the meantime, he wants to make friends, find more hobbies, have a nice relationship with a bearded gentleman, be a good mentor to Athena and anyone else who might need a wizard dad, and overcome some of the crippling anxieties holding him back from fulfillment... without relapsing into the self-destructive tendencies of his past. You know, normal stuff.
● what your character needs: Most of his wants and needs overlap! He also needs to be pushed out of his comfort zone more, because he's the kind of person who'll just settle into a COOL AND CASUAL rut if given the chance.

● threading preferences: Prefer in-person threads with Jintetsu since he doesn't really internet. Prose or brackets are fine, I'll match whatever. And any length of tags is fine, whatever works for the flow of the thread :D
● threading habits: My time zone is US-Mountain, but I tag at random times of day anyway. I like the idea of "appointments" where you both set aside a specific time to boomerang, like you would playing tabletop? But I haven't really tried it out in practice. Hmu if you want to try it!
● about you: I love cats. So much. Tell me about your cats please, I can 100% guarantee I will always want to hear it.

hitmanunemployed● residence: assigned to Communal Housing, Floor 12 - roommates Villanelle, Billy Rocks, Csevet Aisava, Tony Stark. (He's bound to go homeless again sooner or later, but for now!)
● about: Jintetsu is a drifter from Edo-period Japan. He has a talking sword, a robot arm, a mask he never takes off, and a terrible curse. He kills people for a living, but in an environment where he A) can't easily skip to the next town and 2) doesn't know where to find organized crime to work for, he may have to look into other career paths. (Besides, he kind of hates gangsters anyway.)
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: The exploration stuff mainly! Since he can leave, he will, frequently. He's very good at surviving in the wild, and in a group he'd make a good scout.
● what plans you have for this character:
● shipping/smut preferences: He is suuuuuper not ready for any kind of romantic relationship right now. Anyway, the sword would be a third wheel.
● what your character wants: To be left alone.
● what your character needs: People who won't leave him alone, whether positive or negative - people to look forward to seeing, or to dread running into. To get out of his comfort zone (aka "alone in the woods"). A new purpose in life. ALSO A MECHANIC, he has no idea how to fix his arm if (when) it breaks.

I know nothing about Jintetsu at all BUT I love throwing Dorian at everyone, and he can be pretty charming and witty in conversation. Definitely good at keeping one going, so long as Jin isn't....um...on the unintelligent side. He really has a low tolerance for low intellect. BUT yes. I'd love to.

And great! Jintetsu doesn't have much in the way of an education, but he's not stupid or anything. Just... uncultured and sorta rude. So we'll see how that goes lol
I can do up a starter for them under the open post if you want! Jintetsu's still trying to get his feet and getting lost frequently, so he could easily just wander into whatever Dorian's doing, if that works?

● about: A mage from a society that feels it's better than everyone and all ways are their ways. A pariah in said society because he can see all the tarnish and rot under that gilded surface and he has a lot of Opinions about them. Flippant unless he wants to be serious, guarded and private, something of a peacock. Self-stated charmer and witty conversationalist.
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I enjoy a good balance between slice of life and exploration.
● what plans you have for this character: Dorian is currently reeling from someone he had more feelings for than he'd ever admitted leaving not once but twice, but I would love for him to actually find some sort of solace where he doesn't feel exposed by being vulnerable.
● shipping/smut preferences: I would love a ship, but I have absolutely nothing lined up. Canonly, Dorian is very gay. I'm, however, more of a "fade to black" person.
● what your character wants: A personal library, all the wine, and to be left the hell alone.

● age: I have no idea anymore... 21? His most recent canon update added two years to him, and time is starting to get even more wonky in canon. He was 18 when it all started, and they've been running around in space for over a year, according to the official Coalition Handbook that came out recently.
● occupation: Perimeter Guard
● residence: private home
● about: Keith is a Paladin of Voltron, an orphan, and half-alien. He recently was reunited with his mom, spent some time away from Voltron as part of an undercover rebel group of space ninja spies, and had to fight the closest person he has to a brother because of cloning and mind control. He's kind of emo, something of a dare devil, and sometimes has issues with anger management. His recent canon update has left his temper a bit more stable than before, and he's matured as the leader of Voltron.
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Right now, Keith is exploring with the jungle stuff, but he needs a break. Life threw him into a lot of weird shit recently, and some slice-of-life downtime could do the kid some good.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing concrete at the moment. I'm open to ideas and plotting. Please ask him how he got that new scar on his face that he didn't have when he first arrived in game. >.>
● shipping/smut preferences: Keith's in something of a relationship with Lola at the moment, and that's probably not going to go away any time soon.
● what your character wants: To get home and finish what they started when they left Earth with the Blue Lion.
● what your character needs: Balance and a break from his life's stress (and a Krolia to show up in game so he can learn more about his mom and introduce her to Lola).

I do have a canon update response from him here if you're interested in doing something with welcoming him back. I'm also open to ideas on the monthly mingle if there's something there that looks interesting (or if you have a top level already).
