● what plans you have for this character: He'll be patrolling the city by night, taking his new job way too seriously by day, and attempting to maintain a secret identity somehow which I fully expect to bite him in the ass at some point. It is a terrible plan please feel free to notice what a terrible plan it is.
● shipping/smut preferences: I’M DOWN WITH IT though it's worth noting that he's a pretty committed serial monogamist and a romantic at heart, thus casual encounters will happen pretty infrequently and pretty much never without a whole lot of strings attached. He will always care deeply and it’s really not hard for him to become hugely invested in a relationship, but he tends to be bad at actually making them work so there’s some potential for fun drama there too.

● what your character wants: To figure out the portal, to save lives, to go home
● what your character needs: Friendships, found family, a team of some kind?? Dick is a guarded dude by necessity rather than by nature, which basically just means that caring will usually come a lot sooner for him than real trust. I'd love to nudge him out of the comfortable circle of bat paranoia by tossing him at people who can get under his skin, pick at his bat armor, and/or need him in some way. Once you’re one of His People that’s it, he’ll protect and treasure and willingly die for you pretty much forever regardless of any and everything else. Negative CR is also welcome, please challenge his limited self awareness and absolute commitment to unattainable ideals.

speaking of which depending on what gets discussed in this inbox thread nightwing might want to creep on loki at some point to assuage his own v intense curiosity if that's something you'd be down with!

I just want more of these two trying to get along, walking around all of the bad parts, and ending up kind of disappointed in each other...until they work everything out. Because hooboy, they have a messed up past - and Jason did not help with recent revelations. But man I'm keen on seeing what they're like when they actually get along too.

HELL YES Dick's going to have to take the first step this time and I'm super keen on making that happen like stat. He's very invested in being the Good Big Bro he wasn't before and it helps that he's missing a lot of canon baggage where Jason is concerned, but lmao it is complicated and I love playing that out.

Also he's a PI and Dick is a cop we should... do something with that too...

First off, can I say I'm loving our thread? Because I am and I am totally down to toss these two together again. If they don't become friends, I will be the most surprised and I kind of really hope they do because the mental image of Lí trying to hunt Nightwing down to gift him homemade food is making me cry tears. What's his bat armor rating?

But seriously I'd like to bounce these two off of each other sometimes. Steve has a pretty strong possessive/group mentality so he might pester Dick once he got to know him? Marvel adoption instinct.

He's ripe for adoption, go for it tbh. And yes!! I've been looking for an excuse to throw Dick at Steve forever, they have a few things in common that I think could make for really interesting CR. Where does he tend to hang out?

He's on the Perimeter Guard so he does some patrols outside of quarantine, but he also spends a decent amount of time on the rooftops getting his exercise or exploring the shopping districts just to try to fit in?
