Hi, Riverview; this is Pax again with character number two: Elizabeth of York from the miniseries compilation The White Queen and The White Princess. Her family is basically House Stark of England, and have gone through a rough past couple of years. Most of the family is dead now, aside from the daughters. But Bess in this canon is a descendant of a water goddess, so she's got some vaguely Mists of Avalon-like foresight and water magic under her belt!

She's from August 1485, right after the battle of Bosworth. Being here, she'll feel, is a reprieve from the misery she assumes she'd endure being married to Henry Tudor.
