Hi everyone! My name's Kae, I'm new to Riverview. I come bringing Jintetsu and his talking sword Haganemaru, from the manga Kurogane (and ongoing sequel Kurogane-Kai) (by Kei Toume) (not to be confused with all those other series and characters called Kurogane).

Basically, his deal is: he's a cyborg from Edo-period Japan, he's got a terrible curse, and he may be creepy-looking and kind of unsociable and kill people for a living but he's actually pretty nice otherwise! I've got a more detailed impressions post on his journal, since I'd be here all day otherwise. TL;DR robot arm, weird sword, never takes off the mask, etc.

He's been assigned to communal housing floor 12, though I'm sure he'll go back to the hobo life before long. I'm actually really excited about the exploration and worldbuilding aspects of the game, and I could see Jintetsu making a good scout or wilderness guide once he's settled in a bit.

Hi, Riverview! I'm Jay, and I'm completely new to the game! I bring you April Ludgate from Parks and Rec. For anyone unfamiliar, she's salty, a little dark and twisty, and she generally hates most people. (spoiler alert, she's not rich or a widow, but she might have a terrible secret or two) For those familiar, I took her from the beginning of season 5 when she's in Washington D.C. with Ben.

I am really excited to throw her into this setting, and to play in this game in general. April is much less excited, since she will be working for the government just like she does back home. She'll be living in communal housing (Floor 1, Bed 3) at least at first, much to her dismay. She's just going to be a ray of sunshine all around, tbh. Deep down, she has a big heart and will seek out some weird friends for sure. She definitely likes animals more than people, but she's into anything remotely connected to the supernatural or macabre, which, let's be real, will probably land her in trouble. She might go through your trash for fun, or attempt to moonlight as a sanitation worker. I am up for any and all CR! She will probably rub some folks the wrong way with her attitude, and I personally welcome it lol.

Hello, hello! I'm Arisa and I was here about a year ago with Matt Murdock from the Marvel Netflix series, specifically Daredevil, and now I'm back with that same little blind lawyer. To recap, he tried to save an old man on a street when he was a kid, but got hit in the eyes with radioactive waste, which blinded him but ALSO heightened all his other senses, so he's that obnoxious vigilante in red who beats up on people at night.

He'll be coming back with a different canon point from when he entered last year, and this time he'll be straight from the very end of Defenders, episode 8. It's been a year since the series came out but in case people don't want to be spoiled, let's just say he's not in the best physical condition!

That minor sad trombone moment aside: hello Riverview! I'm Kenkai and I am brand new here. I bring to you all Hawke, or at least my specific version of Hawke. For those of you not familiar, she is a custom malleable protagonist from the Dragon Age series. She was the protagonist in Dragon Age II specifically, though she makes a big appearance in the sequel, Inquisition. Relm Hawke is taken from the end of the Here Lies the Abyss quest in Inquisition, where she's off to go to Weisshaupt and disappear for the rest of the game.

Relm's a mage, and a sarcastic one at that. She likes to joke, drink, and deflect serious conversations. Oh, and throw Stone Fists at people if she gets irked enough. But if you manage to get past the snarky exterior, you'll find a big heart and a very loyal person. Just... good luck getting there. She has trust issues, as she's been through some shit.

Hi everyone. I'm Karin, and I was here a little while ago with Admiral Holdo until, well, life. But I have returned, this time with Dr. Harry Goodsir from the AMC TV series The Terror (based on the Dan Simmons novel, but there's enough differences between the show and the novel that I'm specifically focusing on the show version).

Harry was an assistant surgeon on the Franklin Expedition, which all went horribly sideways between 1845 and 1848, and Harry comes to Riverview having met his maker, as it were (not really a spoiler, seeing as how literally everyone from the expedition is known to have died unpleasantly one way or another). He will be working at the hospital as the local coroner, as well as taking university classes to get his medical knowledge up to speed (including, among other things, this wonderful thing known as germ theory).

This Thor is from the main comics world, and is quite similar to MCU Thor except that he didn't let a crazy man cut all his hair off and still has a hammer. His canonpoint is just after Original Sins, so he's still worthy!
In Riverview he's been given a job as a mechanic, so guess who's going to be doing all the heavy lifting, and he's staying in the communal housing on floor 14, bed 8 (where he's introducing himself to everyone who wants to drop by with a massive barbecue.

Hello, people of Riverview! I'm Elie, and after a five-year long hiatus from DWRP I'm coming back with this troublesome manchild called Jyushimatsu Matsuno, the fifth born of a sextuplet family that stars in the gag anime show Osomatsu-san. Three of his shitty brothers are already in the game and you must know them already.

Jyushimatsu can be defined as either a cheerful sunshine cutie who smiles all the time, or a terrifying tornado that will totally murder people over baseball, his favourite thing of all time. Either way, he's really fucking loud so hopefully your delicate eardrums won't be shattered in the process of getting to know him better. There is rarely a middle ground with him, but I hope you will love him all the same!

He works as a mascot for the Riverview Rams baseball team! This is more or less gonna be his getup.

Hello! I'm a newcomer to the game. I go by Arc, and I've brought in Haru Okumura from Persona 5! She's a bit of a shy, demure girl who was raised in high society and has a lot of trouble expressing her feelings, and has some trust issues on top of that due to knowing that people have tried to befriend her or even just smile at her for their own benefit or to use her. However, due to making friends with the protagonist and his friends, she was able to break her chains and start speaking and thinking for herself.

As a side note, she is at Rank 10 with the protagonist, Akira, which is the highest confidant rank (and is on the romance route as well - all of this was planned out with the Akira player in advance!).

Her canon point is the day of the final mission, before it starts and before a fair amount of endgame actually happens.

Hi! I'm Claire and this is Steve Rogers from a universe that never got super serum. Instead they got a shrimp in a can. But it worked out pretty well for everyone! The War was won, Steve became a Colonel and "retired early" in his forties from a Hulk smash.

He's coming in after his death with his Mark II Iron Man suit and fabulous premature gray hair. He'll be in community housing floor 8, bed 6 and working as a perimeter guard. Compared to the usual Steve, he's a bit more laid back and chill. He never had the burden of being the national symbol Captain America, so he's just a little less intense?? yeah.

hello!! i'm zero, brand new to the game, here with cassandra cain, aka batgirl, from dc comics. specifically, from the pre-flashpoint continuity of new earth. she's a former child assassin and an unparalleled fighter, who was raised only understanding body language and physicality. understanding verbal language is pretty recent for her. she's still trying to figure out having a life outside of being a vigilante, and how to navigate being a person and not just a symbol.

she's going to be living in communal housing (to start), on floor 6, bed 1, and is coming off of the end of her solo series. at her canon point she's dealing with a lot of traumatic fallout from the last arcs of her book, so she may not be the most social at first. but she's sweet, honest.
