hello!! i'm zero, brand new to the game, here with cassandra cain, aka batgirl, from dc comics. specifically, from the pre-flashpoint continuity of new earth. she's a former child assassin and an unparalleled fighter, who was raised only understanding body language and physicality. understanding verbal language is pretty recent for her. she's still trying to figure out having a life outside of being a vigilante, and how to navigate being a person and not just a symbol.

she's going to be living in communal housing (to start), on floor 6, bed 1, and is coming off of the end of her solo series. at her canon point she's dealing with a lot of traumatic fallout from the last arcs of her book, so she may not be the most social at first. but she's sweet, honest.

I'm Vel, Tim Drake, at your service. I'm a little fuzzy on Cass' Batgirl run except for some bits and parts where they intersected with Tim's, so if you want me to pay attention to anything in particular, let me know! Tim's from right after fighting R'as in Red Robin but before he goes to seek out Cass in Hong Kong. I think at that point they're kinda friendly- or at least not so estranged that Tim can't reach out to her. :oa

yeah, unless i'm forgetting something, the last time cass had a meaningful interaction with tim back home on her end was the robin/batgirl crossover after war games. so things are weird and a little strained but still friendly on her side too! and tim's her little brother, regardless.

for reference, she's pretty much from around the same timeframe as infinite crisis and under the hood. probably a few weeks after it.

For sure, since shes after identity crisis then Bruce has adopted Tim too which makes them the only Waynes of the preboot timeline in RV right now. :'D SIS. /o/

hahah oh man no i'm never playing cass from after One Year Later. nah serbia's the end of her solo series, the stuff in the Balkans. Her dc wikia page kind of skips over a lot of it, which is annoying, but tl;dr she died, came back, technically killed her mom, had a whole existential crisis.

so yeah she's not doing great.

It's ok, Tim's only recently come back from the dark point of his own existential crisis- he's also figuring out what to do with himself. Getting kicked from being Robin is still pretty fresh for him so they can bond over that, possibly. :')
