alchemyfreakI got a few questions so hopefully this will clarify some things for other players as well.
Deadline to sign up for the RNG is October 7 at 10 pm EST.
This will give us enough time to get an RNG sorted and shoot out results to players.
The event starts October 9th and ends October 23rd.
During this time you may have as many shared memories as you wish, in any of the formats available.
Dreams are limited by the number of nights during the event, but I doubt anyone's going to go overboard.
Memories may be shared with multiple parties, either as a dream, public network post, or first person visions.
There is no limit to how many characters share memories, or who with.
Your characters are in no control of these, they can not determine who sees their memories or how they’re seen.
Memories may be seen by close CR, complete strangers or anyone in between.
This allows for players to choose new CR through this event, or enhance current CR.
Should you choose, characters may never determine whose memories they saw in first person flashes.
This is not an option for dreamscape or network posts as the character/character’s handle will be present in those.
Characters may not alter, interact with or interrupt these memories.
Memories can come at random or be prompted by something as simple as close proximity or a touch.
First person flashes will be quick and confusing, lasting only seconds the first day of the event.
Multiple characters can have the same first person memory flashes.
As the days pass these memories will become clearer and easier to understand. The memory owner may become recognizable.
There is no limit to how many memories your character witnesses.
There is no limit to how many characters enter a dreamscape or respond to a network post.
These are “public” unless specified otherwise by the player.
The same memory may be shared with multiple characters at the same time if it is broadcast through a network post or a dream sequence.
All memories must come from your character's canonpoint or earlier.
Amnesia: your character does not need to actively remember it for the nanobots to find it suppressed somewhere.
Please note that it is up to player discretion how much you want to use feelings, knowing other character's thoughts are a no go.
During this period a canister-provided canon update would not be possible
In order to canon update during this time characters would need to physically go home and return as mentioned on the AC Perks page. Canister updates must wait until the event is over and the machine restored.
