Player Event: Keys to the Past (Memory Sharing Event)

From October 9th to October 23rd characters will start to see memories of other characters. This can be characters they are close to, friends or acquaintances with, or even total strangers. Never finding out who the other person is may also be an option if dream memories are avoided. Memories can come at random or be prompted by something as simple as close proximity or a touch.
An RNG option will be available for people that want to experience this with new CR or don't know who to reach out to. Should you prefer to sign up for the RNG, please provide an example memory others may wind up viewing and comment to the appropriate header below.
At first, during the day on the 9th, your character may experience quick flashes of another's memory. Your character may see the memories of more than one character - although at different times. This will happen in first person as if they're experiencing the memory themselves - as the plot progresses they will be able to separate the memories, see more detail and work out which character they belong to (should you choose for that to happen).
As the days pass, these daytime flashes will become clearer and/or longer, making it easier for characters to understand what they're seeing or even possibly identify the memory owner.
Please note that while we're leaving it up to player discretion how much you want to use feelings, knowing other character's thoughts are a no go. Your character wouldn't be able to read the other character's mind in that moment, for instance. It's more like VR for the five senses than actually being in the person's mind.
Another option is to post a memory or have your character accidentally happen on another character's memories through the network. A video post that was never meant to broadcast, for instance.
At night your character may find themselves in a shared dreamscape with another character. In these dreams, one character will be watching the other's memories as the two characters stand off to the side like experiencing a virtual reality movie of said memory. These memories are experienced purely through a third person spectator effect. As invisible bystanders, neither character can interact with the dream/memory unfolding before them or alter the course of said memory.
The same memory may be shared with multiple characters at the same time if it is broadcast through a network post or a dream sequence.
Eventually characters are going to realize that what was causing this glitch in the memory system is the mechanics in charge of canon-memory updates. The machinery goes haywire, the nanobots start infecting people/their devices, and instead of characters getting their canon updated memories they experience memories of others. During this period a canister-provided canon update would not be possible, as the machine is down until a solution is put together and implemented. In order to canon update during this time characters would need to physically go home and return as mentioned on the AC Perks page.
Should you prefer to sign up for the RNG, please provide an example memory (and any relevant content warnings) others may wind up viewing and comment to the appropriate header below. Please consider using {this code} to blank out content that may include extreme triggers or spoilers.
Please note that all memories must come from your character's canonpoint or earlier. The nanobots are not providing future vision as their functionality for canon updates is unavailable for this event. The only shared memories a character can offer that they do not have access to is in the instance of amnesia: your character does not need actively remember it for the nanobots to find it suppressed somewhere.
Here is a link to the Mission Post, if you're interested in signing your character up to solve the issue!

Undertaker
Not a lot is known about him in canon, other than that he worked with Ciel's parents and had ties to his family back even before them, and he was once human, as all grim reapers were. With that in mind, there are definite spoilers for the Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler series contained in his memories. I've picked out a few instances that takers will be able to see, and this will go not only for the RNG but for anyone who wants to interact with him as well.
Of note, it should be said that these memories will all be in very low resolution. Undertaker is horribly nearsighted. One will be clear though.
1) Random meeting with young!Ciel. These two literally ran into each other, or at least Ciel did. Ciel would be little more than 7 years old. What the memory shows is a hallway in a very nice building. Undertaker is walking down it. He stops as little Ciel comes barreling in through a side room and bonks right into him. Oops. Better keep your eyes open. The kid seems terrified, but Undertaker is doing nothing to harm him, just standing there.
2) Talking with Ciel's father. Nothing special about this one. Undertaker is making small talk with a man who looks like an adult version of Ciel, but at this man's feet, hiding partially behind his legs, is tiny Ciel again. They are in a large room with other people milling about, a party of some sort. Those who are close enough can be seen in very beautiful, very expensive clothing, so clearly a party for the rich. Now and then, Undertaker peers down at the boy hiding behind his companion's legs; the boy ducks back as soon as he looks. This seems to amuse Undertaker to no end, though he only giggles quietly about it.
3) Fighting on the Campania. The images on this one are hectic as well as blurry, but the actions calculated. The room is once again elaborate and appears to be a ballroom of some sort, but the floor is bare and the tables and everything loose are oddly piled carelessly to one end of the area, as if someone had tilted the room on its side and let everything pile there. There are three individuals other than Undertaker himself: one wearing red with long red hair, one in a business suit with a poof of blonde that isn't quite natural, and the third wearing almost all black from top to bottom. The one wearing red carries a chainsaw. The one in the blonde carries what looks like a lawn mower. The third with the dark everything carries nothing, it seems. But at one point or another, they're all fighting each other, though they seem to be focused on Undertaker himself. There are flashes of long slabs of wood that Undertaker himself uses during the fight, though all that is really apparent is that there are japanese markings on them. They break, some of them, but there is one that cannot be broken. The fight moves all over the room, going from one point to the next. They don't seem to be getting an upper or lower hand on anyone though, with the exception of the blonde. Clearly he is the novice here, though he does have experience. If one pays attention and the memory goes on long enough, they may notice that the room continues to tilt strangely. And that's it. Random fighting in a tilted room with no explanation. Yet.
4) Doing his job. Which job is up to the viewer. He has had two in more recent times. One was that of the mortician he will tell you that he is in Riverview. All the viewer will see is (hidden for gore content) a body lying on a table, insides on the outside. Undertaker's hands reach in now and then as he talks to himself, or rather, to the body, making mental notes on the organs he removes and cracking jokes with them as he goes. The jokes are morbid in nature, but this is Undertaker you're seeing. He has to get his humor in somehow. ---- The other is that of a body lying on the ground, dead by some means or another, and in this one Undertaker is wearing glasses, so everything is in perfect clarity. There is no clear reason as to why this person has died, until Undertaker pierces the body with the end of a very large, very elaborate scythe. He asks it to show him its records, and from the cut springs dozens of what look like old fashioned film strips, each one playing scenes from the deceased's life. When it reaches its end, Undertaker looks down into a small book in his hand that contains a photo of the person and their name, basic information about them. He mentions that there was nothing of note to this person and stamps the page as "Completed."
5) The last option is that of a dark room where moonlight spills in through the open curtains. This one is hard to make out at first, though it's clear that Undertaker is moving forward, toward the light and what appears to be a large canopy bed that is partially illuminated by it. He is moving quietly to the small figure lying asleep in it and settles himself on the edge. One hand moves to cover the sleeping hand and the figure stirs. This close, in the dark, it's hard to make out, though it would be obvious that this is a young person. This young person wakes asks him if it's time to wake up. The voice is Ciel's, though he doesn't appear to be afraid or even startled to see Undertaker there. Undertaker tells him to sleep a little longer, and Ciel does.
And there you have it. Enjoy.

1) his parents fight for divorce and all the siblings fight to be one of Matsuyo's dependents
2) eating pears after hearing about Karamatsu's kidnapping
3) the various tantrums he pulls when his brothers leave the house
if you want to have a dream sequence, i was thinking it would be somewhere along the lines of showing his wacky childhood.

1) A memory of her acting career, specifically when she starred in Hot Tub High School. Anyone who knew her would notice she's much younger and seemingly less uptight (mostly because there's some topless nudity involved in this movie, fyi).
2) The memory of her father's funeral. A guy from the paparazzi crashes the funeral to take pictures of Chloe; she punches his camera and breaks the lens clean in half.
3) Her first day as a cop and meeting her ex-husband, Dan.
4) Having her daughter, Trixie. This memory would be interspersed with memories of her life with Trixie - taking her to school, cooking her meals, playing with her, etc. The sight of them being a family.
5) Meeting Lucifer Morningstar at Lux.
6) Killing Malcolm after he kidnapped Trixie.
7) Almost dying from being poisoned.

Keith
That said, I definitely have about 30-some-odd episodes of canon to work with, so I'm willing to play with a lot. I'm not tossing anything specifically season 3 in there because he's not canon updated, but there were hints in season 3 that allude to how things were in Keith's past, and I've already been playing with some of that, so I'll be playing with that here, too.
Example, Keith gives the impression that Shiro saved him from some sort of hard life as a kid. He was some sort of bad boy troublemaker type of kid, and Shiro turned him around from that kind of life. Exact details aren't really known, but Keith talks about how his life would have been very different if Shiro hadn't intervened, that Shiro was the only one who never gave up on him, and that Shiro's given him a lot of good advice over the years. He also feels a need to promise/swear that he didn't steal the Galra knife he carries, even though he hid it from Shiro initially. Shiro never knew Keith had it, but this says to me that Shiro's caught Keith stealing in the past. He also deeply trusts and respects Shiro, even says, "Yes, sir," several times in response to Shiro's orders during missions, which is saying something because Keith really doesn't trust or respect others easily. Shiro is Important in Keith's life.
It is said that Keith got kicked out of the Garrison for "disciplinary issues". We also get the impression that this happened after Shiro and the Holts went missing during the Kerberos mission, because Keith feels the need to mention it in the first episode, like he's updating Shiro on what's been going on since he was gone. His reactions in season 3 to Shiro going missing at the end of season 2 confirm that Keith's response to grief is anger. So, it's likely something triggered his temper in regards to Shiro's disappearance pre-canon, and he got himself in some major trouble and was summarily dismissed from the Garrison. Actually, Keith's normal response to stress in general is anger unless he has someone to temper that, so it's really not surprising at all that he would have gotten kicked out if Shiro was MIA. Especially since we now know just how important Shiro is to Keith.
During the Trials of Marmora, we get the impression that Keith's relationship with his father is strained. We also get the impression that there's a chance that Keith isn't necessarily an orphan (thought it's stated that he is), but rather was abandoned, because Keith isn't overly shocked or happy to see him. He seems confused at best, and maybe even a little sad. Also, when his father asks if he wants to "catch up", Keith is kind of like, "yeah, but... important things first". Granted, it's a hallucination and not an actual memory, but I feel like that would warrant a stronger reaction in regards to seeing his father again if his father was actually dead. Keith also exhibits a lot of issues with loss and abandonment, so that leans towards him being left behind and/or being old enough to remember an important death or being abandoned by someone important to him (other than Shiro... lol).
However, we get the idea that his life wasn't all tragedy? Like there's a chance he was happier as a child, and how can you spend time with a cute dork like Shiro and not learn how to enjoy things? Keith appreciates humor. He knows how to loosen up and have fun at times. So there are definitely some good things to play with, too. No one is really exactly sure where Keith got that hover speeder thing from (did he steal it? did he inherit it? does he actually have a post-Garrison job to pay for it?), but he clearly enjoys riding it, so that's something I'm willing to work with. He likes goodnatured competition as evidenced in season one's food fight and season two's spore fight.
Additionally, he knows how to fight... he's not necessarily amazing at it because he gets his ass kicked a few times, but he's not a novice when he first starts working with his bayard in the Castle's training deck. Keith and Shiro fight pretty similarly, though the Paladin's handbook states that Keith fights with a more Galra-like style, probably due to his propensity to act on instinct, so there's a chance that Shiro shaped a bit of Keith's natural fighting talent into a usable skill. There's also the chance that their similar styles are a result of Keith's natural instincts and what Shiro adapted of his own abilities while in the Galra fighting arena. So, who knows? I'd like to think that there was some bonding between Keith and Shiro with Shiro teaching Keith to focus and temper his reactions by expending energy in fight training, trying to instill some discipline into the boy.
And then, of course, two seasons of canon to play with if anyone wants to see giant robot lions fighting in space. :D Also, Keith's reactions to Shiro being in trouble... or find out that Keith is not 100% human... or see the rest of the Voltron team.
NEW INFO: Yay for ongoing canons... BUT... Voltron's official social feeds have been releasing weekly Paladin VLogs and Keith's came out this past week. Apparently, he interpreted what happened with his mom as her leaving him. We don't know details, but it still hurts and he gets really upset thinking about it, so that's A Thing. So, there could definitely be an option of him being all ragey and angry about her leaving (because Keith deals with anxiety and stress and grief by being angry).
SO OPTIONS
- Garrison Keith being top pilot but getting expelled after he gets in some serious trouble while dealing with the loss of Shiro.
- Troublemaker kid Keith getting his life turned around.
- Keith being angry/sad about his mom leaving.
- Keith learning to hone his fighting talent into a skill.
- Keith learning to be a pilot and being a complete natural at it.
- Keith's hover speeder.
- Giant fighting robot lions.
- I'm not saying it's aliens, but ALIENS.
- Keith being part alien.
- Learning about space from Shiro.
- Food fight?
- Spore fight?
- Rivalry with Lance.
- Hunk's bone crushing hugs and amazing food.
- Pidge being a nerd.
- Allura being either intense training instructor princess, super cool diplomatic princess, awesome bad ass fighting princess, or space-racist Galra hating princess (she comes around by the end of the season, but it definitely hit Keith hard...).
- Coran being the crazy old uncle.
- Two words: Space Mall. (You know you want to see Galra's finest mall cop, Varkon "Blart". lol)
cisco ramon ☆ the flash
Some options for memories of Cisco for your character to see! These are off the top of my head and meant for canon blind folks, there are many many many more things we could do so if none of these tickle your fancy let me know.
1. Young Cisco making some kind of impressive machine. Light/ humorous with an option for a side of sadness (his brother breaking said machine or parents scolding him / seeing it as a waste of time)
2. Fun memories of Cisco in his early days at S.T.A.R. Labs trying to impress Dr. Wells (his mentor who it later turns out is a supervillain)
3. Fun memories of happy Team Flash times. Kicking bad guy butt! Just good lovely superhero adventures.
4. Getting murdered by Wells. :( Not gory but deeply traumatic.
5. Building the heat & cold guns under duress while kidnapped; seeing his brother get tortured and revealing the Flash's secret identity to save his brother's life
6. Tearing Wells's hidden surveillance cameras out of his apartment, once he knows they're there
7. Using / talking about his powers (either vibrational blasts or finding people/information with his visions)
This and much more is an option!!! New and old CR welcome, I love this event I'm going to have a million threads yolo.
Kate & Cisco
For Kate and Cisco I know we were going to do her helping her brother hide a dead body. I am thinking that for the other way around we should do something a little less heavy. Possible 2 with a fun memory or 7 which can go either way. I'm also thinking that hers might through a dream experience while his memory could be them meeting on the street and being pulled into the feeling/sight of it together or something. I am obviously down for anything but these are the ideas I got.

Edward Elric | Fullmetal Alchemist ('03) | CRAU
Background info: Ed's a CRAU from two previous games that were basically polar opposites. As he explains it in Riverview, the short description would be to say one place was like living in Riverview's city, while the other was more like living outside the wall permanently. Memories from either of these games will vary from slice of life to downright horrifying. Purg was a horror game with crack elements, run by gods that toyed with the residents and Lang was an island paradise where characters were regularly tortured by gods as incentive to obey. Both games have some mature content so appropriate warning will come with any memory in need of those.
I can offer a variety of memories if there isn't something specific you want, provide me with a mood and I'll come up with something relevent. Also if you have a preference for Purg or Lang memories make note of that and I will work with it.
canon based stuff (please note if you're FMA familiar, Ed's from the '03 canon, as such much of the manga/Brotherhood does not apply.)
Ed has everything from cute childhood memories with his mother and brother to some more over the top memories like literally beating people to a pulp for calling him short and ripping a guy's prosethic arm off for cheating at gambling. Of course, it being FMA Ed also has really sad tragic memories like death, literally having to murder their mother's evil clone, and there's trauma/gore going on there too. Hypothetically, Ed will be canon updated before this event so anything up to his canonpoint in the movie will be available (I'll be updating him to the point where he returns to Germany after the battle in Amestris, for those canon familiar.)
Purg was a desolate nightmare with limited resources and events that vary from crack (intense crack would be fourth wall) to the more horrifying. (Ed's most traumatizing memory is murdering Al during a possession plot). There are some cute memories there like sitting on the roof eating ice cream with Wrath, but most of Purg was suffering so a lot of Purg's memories are suffering. Ed also got his Milotic in Purg so a memory of how that happened would be available, if anyone was interested in the origin story there.
Lang was an island paradise where 3/4 of the month was basically SOL. You made friends, had a daily routine, worked (Ed worked at the casino in the city as a dealer and did freelance repairs.) Every now and then something awful happened, like the blizzard in which no amount of heat made you feel warm and no amount of food satisfied your hunger. Ed also went blind for three weeks and had a few awkward complicated relationships if anyone's down for any of that. Some Lang memories may be NSFW, but those you'd have to specifically opt into, because of their nature and I will not be detailing graphically at any point.
Body alterations like genderswap etc. were also a thing in both games so yes Ed has been there and done that.
EXAMPLES:
cute/happy/fun stuff
Canon childhood memories with mom, Al, Winry, living with Nina and Shou Tucker
Purg memories of snowball fights or with Al or Wrath
Lang memories like Ed's birthday party, research, bonding with people that sort of thing.
crack stuff
Canon memories of short jokes/the arm wrestling season in Rush Valley etc.
Purg memories of Fourth Wall, or a more crack based event
Lang didn't really do much crack but there was a genderswap event
sad/traumatizing stuff
Canon memories of everything ever. Okay, no seriously, the human transmutation, everything to do with Nina, digging up his mom's grave, killing Sloth etc.
Ed literally dies twice in canon, if anyone wants that horror.
Purg memories include Nina being there/eventually leaving, killing Al, the gods killing people, his own death probably etc.
Lang memories probably include things like friends leaving, and his fucked up relationship/not relationship with Taiga if the romantic end is your thing.
Lang is less on the trauma but Ed was blind for awhile (probably not a good one for first person events unless you want a challenge, characters would recognize him by his voice there) and legitimately was going to hole himself up to freeze to death during the blizzard so I can definitely find something if there's interest.
Give me a mood to work with and I can come up with a few ideas for memories for you! If you have an exact scene from canon in mind you'd prefer, or a preference for Purg/Lang stuff let me know, I have plenty to work with.
Feel free to ask questions if you're unsure on anything! I can also be reached on plurk at
Memories that people have shown an interest in so far and probably the best way to do them:
First person flashes:
short explosions, Nina/Barry episodes, finding Trisha before she dies
Network post:
stuck to Lyle on the terminal (Purg memory), automail surgery
Dreamscape:
human transmutation, Hohenheim opening the gate, killing Al (Purg memory)

- Christmas with the Kents
- Superman and Superboy surf Niagara falls
- Damian doesn't let Jon come along
- Jon disappears
- Superman is very subtle
Rey
An important note: Rey has had a Force vision before, and another person's memories will greatly confuse her but it'll make her think it's the 'will of the Force.' Though after a while, she will try to block out those 'visions' and find what's causing them.
So a few options for your characters to see!
1. Rey as a young girl being dropped off on Jakku and watching a ship leave. She's crying out 'No' and being held back by Unkar Plutt. This is one of the earliest memories she has of Jakku, being abandoned there.
2. Finding an old freighter and fixing it up, brief flashes of two other scavengers who help with repairs. A sense of friendship, but that crumbles apart when they're done repairing the ship and essentially steal it from Rey.
3. Rey coming back to the home she made out of an AT-AT (named Hellhound 2), giving someone a glimpse into the her home, and seeing the walls lined with tally marks. The portions she's given aren't all used. It's clear she has to ration her food, just in case of sand storms that force her to stay inside.
4. Saving a small droid, BB-8 from Teedo from being used as scrap parts and developing a friendship with them.
5. Rey's Force vision. All the feels form it.
There are otehrs, but this was what I had off the top of my head. If you have any questions, let me know!

But if you just want a stupid memory, I have those. Basically- the first time he managed to fly, or one of the many preceding or following crashes. one of his birthday parties where everything is just a little... weird
because he doesn't know his mom's an alien yet. probably his first date with Billy, but that was probably utterly sickening. The only thing I have that's a little more serious is probably something to do with Greg, and pretending to be some kind of superhero in the middle of New York (canon choices here are Hulk, Johnny Storm, or... Tony Stark), or raiding the avengers mansion, or one of the YA's many very dubious training exercises.
But yeah, if you want something silly, I can do that. PM me or poke me at
taako ☂ the adventure zone
I am suuuper down for this in all it's forms, including getting/showing memories either as flashes or a dream with both characters. I'm breaking it down into four main categories, so if you aren't canon familiar/can't decide on a specific memory feel free to go for a category and we can plot from there! At some point I'm gonna have a nice handy list of a bunch of memories, but until then:
1) Goofs
- Taako vs elevators
- TUFF GREG
- the worst day of Taako's life
- Taako comes for Garfield's life; this one doesn't have all the context but basically Taako just traded a $1000 item for a $500000 item by way of being a sneaky shit
There are plenty of these bc TAZ is heavy on the comedy, and these are open to anyone!! If you're canon familiar and want something specific just lmk.
2) Sad shit
- Taako forgetting Lup & murdering the dude who's basically his brother in law
- talking about how badly the cycles effected his ability to relate 2 people
- a death; there are a couple canon ones and others that happened but aren't described so these can range from dumb to fucking horrible, depending on what u want
- that time Taako thought he killed 40 people; this can either be from the perspective of it happening so it looks like he's responsible or from when he watched it from an outside perspective and discovered that it was sabotage, not a mistake
- Taako gets mind controlled and nearly fucking dies
- WONDERLAND hoo boy, just a whole lot of suffering, including giving up his beauty or part of his life force in order to progress through the game
- Any kinda stuff with the relics they created fucking people up
- The final boss fight of the series, in which Taako is under a fear spell, it's very sad but also kind of badass if anyone wants to see him doing rad shit
The first couple are probably more suited to close CR, but the others are open to anyone!
3) Happy/sweet moments
- Taako does a nice thing for another person with zero self-interest
- Upon realizing that his students (long story) have only a week to live, he lies to tell them they'll be fine, then gives them all the money he accrued that year so they can have a nice last week
- Tres Horny Boys are finally competent and save each other's butts, also Kravitz is there
- Cute shit with Kravtiz, Taako's canon boyfriend who is also a grim reaper, is an option but I might reserve that one for closer CR
- Magic lessons with Angus, Taako's ten year old wizard apprentice
- Sweet IPRE moments, Candlenights or their beach year in which Taako learned to surf or Taako, Lup & Barry befriending a mongoose family and learning to talk their language
- The taquito twins getting into cute shit as kids/teens (I guess this could also be a sad option depending on the moment)
4) Taako being A DICK
- One time he told a dude who was mindcontrolled (not Taako's fault really) to jump in front of a laser, what the fuck Taako
- Leon files for workplace bullying, any Leon experiences are hilarious, there's 3 or 4 and if you want all of them you may have them
- The IPRE crew arguing over whether or not they should destroy a civilization to stop the bad guy from getting it, Taako is in the 'yes' camp, despite the genocide (they end up finding an alternate solution, but still, wtf guys)
- Prisoner's dilemna, featuring Taako "I won't hesitate, bitch" Taaco
- Taako, Magnus and Merle straight up murder a dude because he was gonna blow their cover, then throw the dude's body off a cliff
These are all from his time in canon, but if you had a thought for something that went down while in Riverview, we could deffo work something out.
I'm legit open to anything with any of these, esp for new CR if anyone wants some weird fantasy/sci-fi combos and people are free to mix&match if you want a bunch of different bits from the very long life of a taco, just come at me!!

John Egbert
Most of his memories will come in dreams and most likely be wrapped up in the extra memory of dream bubbles. You can get multiple memories or your memories crossed over with his for the price of one!!
A sample of some memories you may be subjected to:
that time a meteor nearly killed John if he didn't eat a weird apple
his death and subsequent resurrection
the three years he spent on a large boat with only his sister and a bird man for human-ish company (especially the day he realized he hates his favorite movie)
a very bad dog
all those times a weird fish tried to murder him
the greatest creation of all, homosuck or the GAME OVER that came after it
pretty much everything about Earth C
Wally West
1. The Speed Force experience: 1 | 2
2. Making contact with the Batman: 1
3. Reunion with Linda Park: 1 | 2
4. Then with Barry Allen: 1 | 2
5. Pulling a prank with Donna Troy: 1 | 2
6. Listening to his parents fight when he was a kid: 1
7. Racing Superman: 1
The memory with Batman should probably be limited to the characters who know it is Bruce Wayne behind the cowl because I wouldn't Wally to spoil that. The Barry memory should be fine if one is willing to have their character not pick up on the specific mention of his name? Wally's secret identity not remaining a secret is fair game, though.
These are just some options. Here is a brief breakdown of his Rebirth history if one wants to build something off of that.
Ivar "The Boneless" Ragnarsson | Vikings
With that out of way, here's some potential memories!
From his childhood:
- Ivar accidentally-but-sort-of-on-purpose kills another child.
- His parents argue over him while he watches.
- He acts like a cold, uncaring brat when his niece dies.
- One of the many times he broke one of his legs. Ouch.
- His last attempt at trying to walk.
- Arguing with Sigurd, his least-favorite brother.
- Fighting with one of his brothers and headbutting him hard enough to knock out a tooth.
- Learning how to use a bow and arrow.
From more recent times:
- Murdering two traders for insulting him.
- A quiet moment where he's alone on his father's throne.
- Talking with his brothers about his father right before he shows up again.
- Training with his brothers and owning them at using weapons.
- Attempting to have sex with a slave girl and failing miserably.
- Talking with his father and finding a lot in common with him.
- Sigurd tormenting him by telling him he should have been left to die.
- Talking with his mother before leaving Kattegat.
- One of his many talks with his father in England.
- His last talk with his father before Ragnar is killed.
- Meeting his grandfather, Odin the Norse god, when he's told of his father's death.
- Arguing with his brothers about how to avenge their father.
- Challenging Lagertha, his father's first wife, for the murder of his mother, his father's second wife. #Vikingsoapopera
- Meeting up with Floki, the crazy Viking who designs his war chariot.
- Fighting in a battle that ends with wiping out King Aelle's forces.
-Watching King Aelle get blood-eagled (warning: this one is extremely gory.)
He's also going to have a network post combined of two different memories. The first is a moment where he kills his father's own men at Ragnar's request. The second is Ragnar and he talking, where his father finally gives him the acknowledgement and approval he's been seeking for pretty much his entire life. Basically sums up Ivar's life in a nutshell.
Lola Pacini | Degrassi
If you want to give me some idea of the mood of emotion you want I can lead you toward a specific canon event or head-canon idea that I'd write up for you to read through.
Headcanon
- Lola's mom left when she was about 9-10. I'm not really interested in writing stuff before then mostly because small children are boring.
- EXCEPTION: If you want a memory only in Spanish, I can give you Kindergarten Lola who gets called Dora the Explorer.
- The three things up there (Lola dyeing her hair for the first time, one of the waitresses as the Cantina taking her bra shopping, a Mother's day without a mom).
- Memories of working at the Cantina (starting from age 12).
- Memories of doing athletic things with her best friend Shay (starting from age 11).
Canon - 1 (Season 14 - Pink, purple, and blonde pixie cut)
- Cheerleading and selling topless photos online for money to pay for cheerleading equipment.
- Calling a drawing of her as a zombie 'cute.'
- Not understanding that being fourteen and sending naked photos constitutes a federal crime.
- Being kissed by her friend's boyfriend (and all the awkwardness that comes from hiding that).
- Demanding her best friend have a pony at her Great Gatsby themed birthday.
- Being really distraught that bees are dying every day.
- Like... a lifetime supply of Lola saying very stupid things.
Canon - 2 (Next Class 1+2 - Bubblegum Pink)
- Catfishing her friend who won't share her feelings.
- Going out with the boy her best friend is crushing on.
- Learning about masturbation and being embarrassed in class over it.
- A lot of Lola and her two BFFs being dumb teenage girls.
- Volleyball.
- Using dating apps to get free pizza.
- Learning racism exists.
- Starting a protest because racism exists.
- Getting dumped because her boyfriend likes her best friend.
- A bus crash where half the important characters may or may not be dead (that was a fun cliffhanger).
Canon - 3 (Next Class 3 - Cotton Candy Blue)
- Getting involved with a boy who has a boyfriend.
- Feminism through make-up???
- Being ditched by her best friends.
- ...repeatedly.
- Sleeping with the boy who has a boyfriend.
- Being totally cool about bisexuality.
- Accidentally causing boners.
- Abortions.
- Awkward school plays about her, the boy she's into, and his boyfriend in a coma.
I'm also debating getting her a canon update before this all goes down so she can, well, learn one of her friends is non-binary and have memories proving for a fact that all things can be solved through moakeovers. Oh yeah, and her being even more of the mom friend.
Ronan Lynch | The Raven Cycle
Light hearted
1. Dreaming up/creating his brother at the tender age of three.
2. Irish music and/or dancing competitions
3. His father telling him stories.
4. Throwing his ghost friend out a window. It was all in good fun, honestly! Yes, this is somehow a happy memory.
5. Sticking his not yet boyfriend in a shopping cart aso he can run them around the parking lot (and then crash into a car).
Angst without triggers
6. Stealing his deceased father’s car after the will banned him from taking anything.
7. Witnessing his mother fall into a coma.
8. Crashing his best friend's car after stealing it for a joyride. For shame.
Angst with triggers
9. (Assault) Physically fighting his brother over many things, including his brother enforcing his father’s will and keeping him from seeing his mother.
10. (Death, Suicide)One of those big climactif fights in the series. One of his dream monsters fight another guy’s dream monster and trying to save his brother’s life. This is probably best in flashes for extra surreal wtf. The other dreamer's dream monster destroys him.
11. (Death again) A demon almost murdering him and then his friend sacrificing himself to save him. Unless a surreal life and death struggle while shifting in and out of dreams is interesting, this one would be best in third person watching it.
Plotting for Lyle and Shiro
Lyle Dylandy | Gundam 00
light -
"Stealing" his brother's car = this is purely headcanon, but Neil was driving this specific car in season 1 then Lyle had it in season 2 several years later without knowing his brother wasn't alive... so I just believe he said "this is mine now" and took it.
Falling in love with Anew = the jerk calls her dense; this how he treats the woman he loves!
Piloting either Cherudim or Zabanya - Zabanya is just so much overkill.
darker -
Getting in a fight as a young teen and beaten up because he was compared to Neil and fought back
Being recruited to Celestial Being where he finds out his brother is dead
Anew being controlled by Ribbons and Setsuna having to kill her to save Lyle's life
Shiro | Voltron: Legendary Defender
light -
First time he met the younger paladins
Lion Cheerleader Pyramid Stack
Food goo fight
darker -
Black showing Shiro about its past and the fight with Zarkon
Wounded and about to be attacked by alien lizards
Witnessing the Blade of Marmora trials they put Keith through
dark with triggers -
(violence) Forced to fight in the Galra arena
(body modification / torture) His right arm taken from him and experimented on by the Galra - these are mostly headcanon because there hasn't been real information about it. Shiro may or may not remember it completely so the memory will be vague, but clear to whoever is seeing it that something happened to him
PLOTTING FOR CIEL PHANTOMHIVE
In this memory, Ciel can be seen sitting on the floor of a hallway, a couple inches of water soaking into his clothes and, ahead of him, a girl in a white dress with a tail coat over it, crying, as what look like zombies converge on her. Right before she goes absolutely badass and cuts them all into chunky bits. (video)
TWO
In this one, a younger Ciel can be seen running down a hall, shoving open a door where a dog and two adults can be seen laying in pools of blood, adults he refers to as 'mother' and 'father,' before running away again, yelling for help from anyone. And then encounters an older man who says "Lord Ciel, you shouldn't be here!" and is stabbed in the back as a hand, belonging to another boy about Ciel's age, covers Ciel's eyes.
THREE (WARNING MURDER, CHILD+)
In a room that looks like an old-fashioned surgery, Ciel can be seen along with a man dressed like a butler. On the floor is an older man wrapped in bandages but dressed like he's well-off otherwise. There's also a young man with red hair laying on the floor with a skeletal arm that's missing a hand and one arm missing that's bleeding out. there's an alter in the center of the room, surrounded by three cages filled will dull-eyed children.
Another man is walking around the room, talking about how cattle bone is acceptable but human bones are not, before dragging a young girl from one cage and setting her on the alter. Shortly after, he stabs her through the chest, causing Ciel to yell and vomit, the butler sliding up to him and reminding him that he's not in the cage anymore, pulling off his patch, and telling him to call his name. Which he does, his uncovered eye glowing, and ordering him to kill them all. {Which he does by punching his arm through the mans chest and then crushing the head of the bandaged man.}
FOUR
In this memory, a room like an old-fashioned surgery, there's an alter in the center of the room, cages filled with children surrounding it, Ciel is being held by several pairs of hands, his shirt pulled up, and then a hot brand being pressed against his back as he screams.
FIVE
An old-fashioned surgery again. This time, Ciel is in the cage, dirty and thin, noticeably still having two eyes, reaching out of the cage where a group in dark robes and masks are carrying...
Ciel? To the alter, who is kicking and screaming and reaching back to the Ciel in the cage. Who screams for "Ciel" until a knife is brought down into his chest and the caged one screams that there is no God and black smoke fills the room, a figure stepping out of it and settling eyes on the boy. He comments that he summoned him, offers him power and then grabs his face, covering his right eye which then bleeds. When it's uncovered, there's a pentagram in his eye.
SIX
Ciel is in a large bed, dress in what looks like a hospital gown, covered in bandages, terrified out of his head as a blonde haired boy is dragged out by a butler in all black with red eyes, who returns just as quickly commenting that the Queen had sent word, that they're to be kicked out come morning, and that if he wanted to stay scared, the servants would surely treat him well.
Except that it's a breach of contract. And black, smokey tendril yank Ciel out of the bed, rip the bandages off his face and start covering him entirely. A few moments later, he's calling 'Sebastian' a bastard and ordering him to let him go. Once set down, he questions whether he was really about to eat him.
... He was only 90% serious. Of course.
SEVEN
In a cemetery, Ciel is leading his butler away to another grave, where a man dressed in black robes and long silver-grey hair is lounging against a gravestone. And he then explains that the woman was a foreigner and had no one to claim her body, that the young earl was kind enough to give the nameless prostitute a grave, to which Ciel objects and explains that it's only because he put catching the Ripper over the womans life.
As they're parting, they talk about the 'collar' Ciel wears and how it was his choice to wear it. To which Undertaker grabs his tie and pulls him up, mentioning that he hopes it doesn't end up choking him someday.
EIGHT
Ciel, much younger, is laying in bed, coughing and struggling to breath. Then another boy shakes him 'awake' with a cup of warm milk and honey. He then climbs into bed with him and it's obvious that they're twins. The one that brought the milk starts imitating someone, making the sickly twin laugh until the two fall asleep together.
NINE
A young Ciel can be seen walking down a hall and hearing something coming from the next room... So he eavesdrops! And overhears his aunt and father talking. And his aunt says that 'the spare' will have to take over as head if anything happens to Vincent's heir, Ciel.
