[ So who's dumb enough to get dragged into a mission on his first day in the city?

The group of citizens that had been planning on venturing out into the jungle had someone bail on them, which prompted them to approach the first clueless-looking, but able-bodied person they could find. Ryuji had been in the wrong place at the wrong time and in his confusion, impulsively accepted their request. They'd tempted him with the promise of an amazing reward if they ended up being successful.

And rewards are always nice, right?

Navigating through a thick and lush jungle is nowhere as easy as it looks on TV. Unlike the Phantom Thieves, this group is uncoordinated and disorganized, which he entirely blames on the leader. Eventually, they do indeed get lost, and in the midday heat, exhausted as well.

The group rests, and Ryuji takes the opportunity to relieve himself and also clean off the sweat from his face at a nearby stream of water.

He doesn't expect to come back to find everyone gone.

Hours later, if anyone has come out to find and rescue this poor, poor boy (or have come by just by sheer coincidence), they'll find a rather strange looking structure out in a clearing but no one around to be seen. ]

[ The creature comes swooping in on him, but someone has luckily tackled him to the ground before the flying monster can sink its claws into his fleshy frame. Ryuji and his saviour drop to the ground, and whoever just saved his life is rewarded with a loud shout directed right into their face. ]

What the hell was that?! A damn dinosaur?!
