[ It sounds pretty dull to Anderson, too-- as a Judge she's called on to exercise her, ha, judgement on a daily, near-constant basis. It requires a lot of individual initiative and tolerance to crises. Shooting at raptor birds all day sounds like a flagrant underuse of her skills.

It's why she's going into the police instead. Maybe she'll actually help someone there-- and shoot a lot fewer people than she's used to. ]
