Anne wasn't expecting a dragon to swoop out of the sky and try to snatch up her hat, and for her inattention, she's now pushing herself up off the ground by the elbows with a mouthful of dust, watching a blonde girl scream at the sky. Sharp as Anne is, she's not used to being caught off-guard, but this place has all manner of distractions - the bright light in unnatural colours, the unfathomable beasts, the strange machines she can't work out.
So when the girl offers her a hand, she takes it, braces herself easily and stands, doesn't bother to brush the dust off her ass.
"I'm fine."
Her voice is a little wary as she looks at the blonde from under the rim of her hat, but wary as she is, she's grateful for the help.
"It run off with your weapon, then?" A beat, and then, "We could go after it. Bet it won't get far."
