I sincerely apologize for this tl;dr
HELLO ALL this is Liv aka Anderson's player bringing you Jean-Claude from Anita Blake, a trashfire of a book series that I honestly cannot recommend to anyone who does not enjoy hurting themselves. To those who are canon familiar, he's coming from midway through The Killing Dance aka prior to the formation of the triumvirate, largely just to make my life easier.
Jean-Claude is a 500ish year old master vampire who is known as an incubus for having lust- and sex-based powers. He can feed off of blood and sex/arousal/lust. He has a few obvious CR opportunities I will be scouting for: (1) blood donors, which with Jean-Claude is very pleasurable if they allow that, (2) lust "donors" which are not necessarily sexual partners but just anyone who is overtly turned on in his general vicinity, whether they realize he's gaining power from it or not, and (3) employees and performers since he will be opening some sort of business! Maybe a bar? Idk? A bar is a little prosaic for him (canon businesses include an actual circus, a zombie-themed comedy club, and a strip club that features vampires and lycanthropes). I am super happy to take suggestions for both the business and its name, and would love to meet anyone interested in working there. :>
Finally, he also has the power to call (4) wolves including werewolves, so any of those lingering about, sound off? And he's liable to be kind of a jerk to (5) other vampires because he finally scrabbled his way to the top in vampire society at home, so he has a bit of a power trip going on. SORRY? I don't want to step on any toes so feel free to tell Jean-Claude to shove off at any time. Honestly, sometimes he likes that.
Personality wise, he is a smooth operator, the definition of extra, and a lying bastard. If you can get beneath his shiny, lovely exterior, he's hiding a lot of vulnerability and sentimentality, and he is intensely loyal once he gets attached to someone. He's also a ruthless son of a bitch, so that one doesn't happen too often.
Despite all of the above, I am concerned with keeping things all above-board and consensual with Jean-Claude (he is given to that concern himself, fortunately!) and he is very good about boundaries.
