● about: A homicide detective who worked for the LAPD. Satan himself decided to take up residence and LA and weaseled his way into her cases, and it stuck. She's got an 8-year old daughter who she loves dearly and is deeply devoted to her work. She comes across as a bit cold or standoffish at times due to her trust issues, but she's actually a very caring individual for people who get close to her.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm open to pretty much anything at this point. Having her build on and make new CR is always the biggest draw to me, though I am also excited for the exploration aspects.
● what plans you have for this character: So, she recently discovered a few new powers that I would like to have her eventually master. Right now she's got some very rudimentary precognition and healing abilities, but they are not consistent nor very powerful. I'd love for her to learn from another magic savvy character about this.
● shipping/smut preferences: She's got a permanent ship partner in game so I'm not currently looking for anything else in this department.

● what your character wants: To go home. To see her daughter. To figure out her status as a 'miracle child' and what that means for her. To figure out wtf is going on in Riverview in general and the concept of alternate realities and timelines. To put away bad guys. To navigate her new relationship with her partner who happens to be the Devil himself. Oh, and to go home.
● what your character needs: A little of everything of the above, but mostly what she needs are friends. Maybe people to get her out of her shell and have her let loose a bit. Mostly I just really love the idea of found family stuff that would give her lasting ties to the city. As she's also recently discovered her developing powers, she's going to need a mentor or someone to guide her in taking control of that.

Overall, X’rhun is a pretty nice guy, usually prone to playful ribbing and sometimes blunt observations. He will always stick his neck out for people to help them out of a jam, and usually he’s got the skills to see it through. He’s been practicing red magic for decades, so you can bet if something needs exploded, he’s got it handled. Right now, his only hang up is that at his canon point, his home country of Ala Mhigo is still under the oppressive rule of an invading empire, and that is something he would like to see rectified.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Missions! X’rhun will most certainly be volunteering where he can. Beyond that, I just want him to adopt people.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing solid! He’ll be pretty easy to slot into social situations so I don’t think he’ll have any problems getting to know others. I’m open for all sorts of CR, though, not just the positive/helpful stuff.
● shipping/smut preferences: Because of X’rhun’s age, I wouldn’t be comfortable shipping with anyone who isn’t an actual adult- I’d probably draw the line at 30 at the youngest. Other than that, catman isn’t picky. He just might be a little preoccupied with getting home to ~liberate his homeland~.

● what your character wants: To help others, to find a place that serves good drinks, to get home and get on with the whole Ala Mhigan liberation thing.

For the most part, X’rhun is pretty well-adjusted and very okay with his lot in life. He’d be a good pillar of support if someone else needs it, though.

● about you: I am a boring retail worker who likes nerdy things, so most of what I talk about tends to be hobbies rather than work. I ramble about Marvel a good deal, mostly Iron Man stuff to be honest, but I also love horror and will talk a lot about that in various forms. ● occupation: After a little reluctance he'll be attending the high school after all, and taking on a part time job somewhere. (I haven't finalized the latter yet so if someone wants to grab this kid for a job hmu, I'd love some workplace cr.) His other parttime job in the meantime is trawling through the abandoned city in search of valuables to sell off to pawn shops or other miscellaneous shops that'll take his stuff. When you're a bored thief you gotta find your own excitement somehow. If anyone wants in that particular thing too. I'm always down for shenanigans in monster infested lands, too.
● residence: Floor ten. I wanna thread with aaaaaaall my roomies so hit me up, yo. For the record, he makes/leaves some coffee for everyone. Even you. Yuuto's a coffee connoiseur these days.
● about: Yuuto is a quiet, unassuming kid from Tokyo who avoids drawing attention to himself and doesn't tend to be an open book; or rather, this is mostly an act he puts on for the world after Some Shit Went Down back home, and now he just wants you to think he's the dullest, most average normal kid around, right down to the glasses giving him that nerdy look (they're purely cosmetic glasses). In truth he's determined with a rebellious streak, bit of a cocky punk at times, and low-key has a bone to pick with society. Even though he isn't the loudest or most outspoken guy, he always wants to be there for the people he grows closest to.

But he isn't just a normal kid. Back home, Yuuto is actually the leader of a vigilante group who calls themselves the Phantom Thieves, a band of, well, thieves who set out for social reform once the world had punched them down hard enough, and by chance they were given the ability to fight back against a fucked system. Thanks to a whole lot of supernatural weirdness going on, they're able to steal the twisted desires of criminals and force them into a "change of heart" in the name of justice, even if the public at large has conflicting opinions about this. They're still hella wanted by the police though since what they do is considered criminal activity, oops. That said, this is absolutely a secret identity; Yuuto goes by the moniker Joker (from tarot/a deck of cards) while parading around as a thief, and it's also the form he uses his powers in. He has zero intention of letting anyone know that Yuuto = Joker, and is going to be very careful about who meets which identity, but... hey, I'm willing to have that change :')

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Unhelpfully: all of it. I'm very, very down for building cr and making a good network of characters who all know each other well, and I live for the moments characters can hang and be themselves and just have fun doing the little things. I want the roomie chill times, the coworkers struggling through a shift, the students in the same grade/school studying together... Gimme gimme. On the other hand, I love adventure! The abandoned city is rife with adventuring potential, whether it's exploring, monster hunting, lending a hand with missions, etc. Of course there can be adventure within the city too. It doesn't have to be always quiet within the city walls! Basically I just wanna thread and build cr with everyone I'm able to! I don't tend to be canon familiar with many things but I dig crosscanon cr like burning.
● what plans you have for this character: I am a "wing it like hell" kind of person for the most part, but I actually have something in the works! That involves breaking and illegal entry into some government buildings because... look man, I play a thief, I'm here to cause trouble. So needless to say, if this piques any interest whether you play a law enforcement/hero type or likewise-a-troublemaker type, I'm gonna make a post about it soon!! I don't mind being poked about it, though. BUT THAT ASIDE.... just poke me anyway, we can plan something out!

Izzy's the middle, and what feels like often overlooked, Lightwood sibling that will fake it until she makes it, and who takes care of everyone but herself...generally.

I slacked last month and didn't even get a CR thing up, but I'm interested in everything, particularly digging into her role as a forensic pathologist and getting her involved in helping through that or however else fits! Plus she is a social creature and def needs to meet peoples, all the peoples.

● what plans you have for this character: Right now, he currently has weak telekinetic powers (It's still a mystery on how he got them, though). Also, I'm trying to get more CR with old and new characters as I can. Also, I'm trying to let him on any Pokemon-related plots and stuff involving him teaching new people about them.
● shipping/smut preferences: He's mostly heterosexual, so I'll go with shipping only. Sorry, but smut still creeps me out (no offense).

● what your character needs: Since he's a sociable and kind guy, he might not only need some friend young and old, but also a love interest, and some residents that might help him fight in case his Pokemon is unavailable or fainted (because why not). ● what plans you have for this character: Currently, Peter is mooning after Gamora and just trying to find his footing in the city, but otherwise, I have nothing too concrete for him in the long run!

Peter will be enjoying the amnesia shenanigans by being reverted back to a point pre-canon, where he's more of a selfish asshole. I'm hoping to toss up an open post in a day or two where he'll be flirting folks up in clubs and things, but otherwise SHRUG??

● shipping/smut preferences: Open to anything! Amnesia plans aside, though, Peter is working on an Unspoken Thing with Gamora at the moment, so he won't be too interested in much else. He'll still flirt around, though, because flirtation is practically a second language.

● about: Gamora is a highly trained assassin, who was raised by the gigantic asshole who killed her parents and her entire species. She's trying to do right in the world now with the Guardians, and though she's not the friendliest person to deal with, she's learning not to solve problems by stabbing them.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Adventure! Friends! Gamora needs people to help her feel rooted in the city. She has Mantis and Peter, but part of her is still eager to get home, given her concern for the rest of the Guardians and her sister, who she is pretty sure is going to get herself killed before Gamora can step in.
● what plans you have for this character: After amnesia shenanigans, I plan to have Gamora chuck up a network post looking for sparring partners! I want her to fight people that will keep up with her or to fight people who are far stronger than her so she can have a challenge or for her to help people improve their own skills! Gamora is talented and she has a lot to offer, but I like the idea of her dealing with people whose powers or skill overwhelm her. She's always looking to be better.

Long-term, I don't have anything in mind! Gamora is feeling things out with Peter and working on being more a Person, so there's that going on!
● shipping/smut preferences: Gamora isn't interested in romantic or sexual entanglements as a whole, but she's coming to terms with the ~Unspoken Thing~ between her and Peter, and there are definitely feelings there. So I'm mostly interested in platonic stuff for her!

● threading preferences: I have a mild preference for prose over brackets, simply because brackets are more difficult to type with my obnoxiusly tiny fingers. I have the add-on but forget to use it like 70% of the time, between my mouse being a pain and just not being used to having it, yet.

I don't really have much of a preference, I tend to do prose for logs and action brackets for network stuff - but I also tend to match style so it is basically whatever. I will say though that the whole "past tense for prose and present tense for brackets" is beyond me so if the reason you prefer brackets over prose is to avoid having to use past tense you can just ignore that with me. Like, tag like you would in brackets just... remove the brackets, it's chill.

● threading habits: My tagging has been REALLY BAD the last month or so, and gotten worse due to some personal stuff going on. I'm trying to get back on top of things, I tend to slam through my inbox every day except Tuesday and at least hit up a bunch of tags if not get through them all.

● about you: I am pretty boring tbh. I'm a music fanatic, and always open to rec's. I petsit for a living and have a dog, so if you add me on plurk you'll get animal pics. That's about the height of my excitement. I try to keep my RP plurk on point, but sometimes I will talk about work or health in how it might relate to tagging (I have a migraine, tagging not happening atm etc.) I don't really talk about gender stuff on my public plurk but I'm not entirely shy about it if it comes up. The important stuff.

The short of it: Ed is full grown, rather mellow and laid back, he's older and not as quick to jump to the defensive as his canon counterparts. Having been in this sort of situation before (strange new unknown world) he is one to help out when he can, but considering the new environment and his natural tendency to self-preservation he's being very cautious about it for now. He's keeping an eye on anyone he recognizes from previous worlds, even if just to try to stay away from their bad side, but overall he's a well meaning trustworthy person who has a tendency to make other people's business his own. He doesn't necessarily open up or trust easy, but he's quick to make friends and was frequently looked up to or put "in charge" a lot when shit hit the fan previously.

He's also less prone to bouts of PTSD than he was on first arrival (especially during the amnesia plot) so if you want a more laid back, chill Ed to talk to he's calming down and amnesia week would probably be the best time to hit him up.

Ed's pretty handy, repairs and making shit out of thin air are totally his thing.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Personal relationships, mostly. Communal Floor Six Shenanigans, etc. I like to get him involved with people so I put him into situations where there are more people for that reason. Communal housing, helping around where he's probably not needed on the Perimeter Guard, offering to do repairs for total strangers, that sort of thing. I want him to meet more people with artificial limbs, and more mechanics tbh. I want him to get out and meet people that will sort of take him away from his research to have a good time, but also people that will be into research. People with healing abilities!!! Ed is going to decline any offer to restore his limbs, because that would feel like cheating and he's kind of grown attached to the reminder/their usefulness tbh but I want that discussion to happen at some point with someone anyway.

Ed's here for the ties that develop from the circumstances he's put into. I'm not really a slice of life type, so I tend to find him more to do that's plot related or action based but I also have no confidence whatsoever in my action tags so he kind of just hangs in the middle, doing a little of everything tbh. He will be getting himself into all sorts of things, between research, exploring this place, missions that come up and just over plot events in general.

For his own personal reasons, Ed's all about what makes Riverview tick, and finding out why the abandoned city is abandoned. God forbid we take anything we're told at Orientation at face value.

● what plans you have for this character: Exploring the abandoned city and learning about the moon, mod and player plot shenanigans. More found family shit with Floor Six, some interaction with the Salvage & Repair group. SALVAGE & REPAIR MINGLE POST. Septemberis Al's birthday so tentative plans to throw a birthday party, definitely.

Ed is always open to new CR that would be interested in research or going out to make new discoveries. Now that he has the General Store, he'll be converting it for full time repair work and probably eventually turning it into a place to live for him and his brother.

Also, lots of stuff with Al because obviously, and Ed needing to get over some things because he's on a guilt trip a mile long. Which he's actually working towards now? So that's cool.

● shipping/smut preferences: Ed's flexible but tbh he has a few crushes already and a few people crushing on him and none of it is likely to lead anywhere because he's Ed. So unless you want some awkward, potentially unrequited "nothing will ever come of this" storyline probably a no on shipping.

● what your character wants: To figure out if this place is what it says on the tin. Research, exploring, adventure etc. Selfishly, also for Al not to go home, but you know how that works. He really wants to build some strong bonds here, Ed doesn't want to go home, he accepted life in Purg and winding up in Riverview makes him more homesick for that than his own world at this point. He just wants to explore the place, make friends, settle down and be happy for once.

● what your character needs: Sparring partners, to find more people with prosthesis although he has simmered down some about his own paranoia, to learn about the 900 mechanics and engineers this game has, actual friends... He'll totally relax if he figures this actually isn't some crazy new trap, and actually focus on making friends and living here since that's something he learned to do in Purg before being uprooted in the first place. Clearly also to make friends with more people with pokemon, so he feels less like an outlier over that. And of course, everything stated above.
