Community Centers Charity Event
Hello Riverview! As some of you might have seen on the game calendar and the mod plurk, there's a charity event coming up, with both Central and Eastern Community Centers teaming up to bring the community of Quarantine together. The event is being hosted by Magnus Burnsides, Bill Potts (Eastern Center rep) and Steve Trevor (Central Center rep), and it will be taking place on November 11th on... one of the community centers, we haven't decided which.
The event will be largely centered around sports and sports-related activities, but any and all sorts of contributions will be welcome! DETAILS AHEAD.

SO, among the various activities already provided by the community center, there will be various activities, both individual and for groups:
• various sports demonstrations and activities, ranging from martial arts to team sports; people are welcome to watch or join in on any of the open classes or games going on!
• video game area, with various single players and multiplayers available for people to join in!
• board game area, with games ranging from complex RPGs to... idk man, Clue, Monopoly? Ludo? Chess?? WHATEVER YOU WANT MAN, GO WILD
• various workshops about everything and anything you can think of: drawing, painting, cooking, fashion design, photography, pottery? (these are almost all art related but that's just because I'm lame at ideas, whatever.) PLAYERS are ENCOURAGED to come up with their own workshops! Is your character knowledgeable about a specific topic and would they like to host a workshop of their own? Perfect! There'll be a top level in the comment section you can reply to so you can set up your own workshop.
• the event will be wrapping up with a FOOTBALL MATCH (European football, before you ask). The teams will be Central and Eastern, coached by Steve and Bill respectively, and Magnus will be the referee. PLAYERS are ENCOURAGED to sign their characters up to one of the teams if they'd be interested in playing! Is your character shit at sports? Doesn't matter! It's a charity event and no one's here to win the World Cup or anything. There'll be a top level in the comment section you can reply to so you can sign up your character to either of the teams. NOTE: due to the length and complexity of the game, as well as the size of the teams, the game will not actually be played out; we'll just RNG a winner. Everyone's free to play out their own threads before, during or after the game if they'd like to, of course!
• music and dancing and general hanging out with people!
• food & drinks all day!
Like I said above, both the workshops and the final football match will have a more involving component, and if you feel your character would be interested in joining in on either or both of those activities, please check out the comment section below and respond to them appropriately!
