Can definitely fistbump over "former spy" and "he's never been allowed to be selfish before" with attendant traumas and emotional constipation -- if they ever get around to any of it coming up. Jon is also in the Perimeter Guard as a more general member for now, so they'd probably meet that way.

● threading preferences: I tend to do prose for logs and action brackets for network stuff - but I also tend to match style so it is basically whatever.

I have a mild preference for prose over brackets, simply because brackets are more difficult to type with my obnoxiously tiny fingers. I don't treat them any different, tbh. I have no preference for past/present tense, I don't care if it's prose or brackets.

● threading habits: Peak threading time: 3-5 am EST. I also backtag into eternity, so if that's your thing, cool.

● about you: I am pretty boring tbh. I'm a music fanatic, and always open to rec's. I petsit for a living and have a dog, so if you add me on plurk you'll get animal pics. That's about the height of my excitement. I usually only post RP/fandom related things on my RP plurk when I can help it.

● occupation: He does a few things with the Perimeter Guard and offers freelance repairs. He and Al are re-opening his old repair shop which was part of The General Store in his first game.
● residence: Floor Six, Communal Housing. Bed 5, specifically. Plans to expand the General Store and move into the building are in the works, hoping to have that done by December.

Ed's a CRAU, so he comes with a handy Info and Permissions/Opt out Post.

The short of it: Ed is rather mellow and laid back, he's older and not as quick to jump to the defensive as his canon counterparts. Having been in this sort of situation before (strange new unknown world) he is one to help out when he can, but considering the new environment and his natural tendency to self-preservation he's being very cautious about it for now. He's keeping an eye on anyone he recognizes from previous worlds, even if just to try to stay away from their bad side, but overall he's a well meaning trustworthy person who has a tendency to make other people's business his own. He doesn't necessarily open up or trust easy, but he's quick to make friends and was frequently looked up to or put "in charge" a lot when shit hit the fan previously.

He's of the 2003 anime variety if you're canon familiar.

Ed's pretty handy, repairs and making shit out of thin air are totally his thing.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Personal relationships, mostly. I'd like to get him involved more with co-workers and people who need repairs, also people into talking about other worlds comparatively. He needs to make more friends and branch out more.

He will be getting himself into all sorts of things, between research, exploring this place, missions that come up and just over plot events in general.

● what plans you have for this character: Ed is always open to new CR especially those that would be interested in research and/or exploration. There will be opportunities to join in on an adventure regarding these things, so characters interested can hit me up any time. I originally had something slated once a month, but as the game progresses that looks less realistic to pull off so things will happen if and when there's interest.

Ed and Al are in the process of expanding the General Store into the property next door, which they're going to convert into an apartment for themselves. As previous game-mates have since joined game this plan has since been changed to converting a number of stores into a much larger space for all of them to move into.

● shipping/smut preferences: I have nothing witty to put here this month, he's totally in love with a girl he'll never see again. Everyone die of shock.

● what your character wants: He's trying to make a home for himself here, research and working on getting to know the place better etc. Making friends with people who don't want to go home because he's sick of losing people, that sort of thing. Just trying to feel normal now that he's settling in a bit and most definitely putting roots down.

● about: Shouta is a pro hero who can erase quirks for as long as he can look at you without blinking, and also goes around wearing what looks like a pretty stupid scarf but is actually a sweet capture weapon that's for schooling villains and spidermanning around. Otherwise looks like a hobo basically all the time. He's that exact kind of hardass teacher with a heart of gold everyone knows at least one of, and logic is his aesthetic. He's also into cats in a big way.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Everything? He's probably gonna shine most in mission related and actiony content though.
● what plans you have for this character: Just getting settled and building some CR at this point.

He relents eventually... faster than he'd like to think he does tbh, and he's a lot less All Grouch All The Time once he's decided he doesn't hate you. Youngins to nurture in his weird clumsy way because he's already starting to miss his class. Other teacher types to talk about the fun game of expelling entire classes with. People who want/need some help controlling their abilities or honing them for practical applications. A negative CR is fine too!

● about: hailing from marvel's attempt at realistic and gritty comes a tony stark with severe depression and alcoholism and also happens to be dying from a brain tumour instead of the constant heart problems normally associated with him. currently treating his brain tumour like his son as it is actually an infinity gem not that he's aware of that. he just thinks it's neat his brain tumour talks back.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: tony actually thinks rv is pretty well off in comparison to the state of his world and i wanted to see him adjust to having to constantly be on guard to save the day to being able to step back and focus on himself and actually addressing his issues.
● what plans you have for this character: nothing concrete, but longer term things were to get him more involved with the missions and such instead of drinking until he passes out.

● about: Thor is the prince of an ancient alien race. He's a certified God of Thunder and is a passionate protector of both Earth and Asgard. He's a bit of a big deal, very powerful but surprisingly down to Earth. He's very friendly, warm and inviting but he can be kind of dismissive and/or condescending. He's pretty good for banter.

He has complicated relationships with his whole family, mostly his brother. He's learning a lot about new cultures and enjoying it. He likes to drink, fight and distract himself from the fact that he feels like he should be doing more.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I always say more missions, but more missions.I think I prefer working with just a few people on them, though. I'm also down for sparring or for Thor to be involved in helping other people.
● what plans you have for this character: I'm canon updating him shortly, so watch out for Thor 3 spoilers. A lot of my plans involve spoilers so I won't go into too much detail here.

She was raised in the culture of the Angels, believing herself to be one of them (although wingless unlike the typical Angel) until a year or so ago, when Thor and Loki broke into Heven and it was revealed by Odin that Angela was indeed his long lost daughter. Following some hijinks, Angela is now exiled from both Heven and Asgard and is living in Brooklyn, NY with her long time girlfriend, Sera. Well, or she was, until she came here.

● shipping/smut preferences: I mean...I'm open to it??? But Chibita is a pretty goal-oriented kind of person, so it's hard for him to see outside his oden cart. He's gotten better about it, but it's still an issue. Also, though he's fairly good at dealing with other people's feelings and dispensing advice, he's not suuuuuuper great about his own. As in, he has some Issues in this area. So any of said shipping would probably take some time and development for him to get his head out of the sand and realize first of all that he's got those romantic feelings, and then figure out what the hell to do with them, all while being ridiculously tsun probably.

● what your character wants: HE WANTS TO CREATE THE BEST ODEN IN THE GALAXY!!!!!! No but really, that's his life goal. He's really, really into oden. He's not opposed to new friends also, but even better are new customers.
● what your character needs: Chibita needs some more friends. He needs people who are reliable and supportive, but also willing to call him out when he's being dumb and ridiculous and too oden-focused. He needs to be dragged into new activities and expand his horizons a bit more, considering he's lived in the same place and had the same friends his entire life.

This led to him becoming her private tutor, then to him taking her on adventures through time and space. Bill has been in the quarantine for several months, and has recently gone through a canon update which saw her (spoilers for Doctor Who series 10) shot, turned into a cyberman, then turned into a being made of sentient liquid, which is her current state.

● what plans you have for this character: Sometime in the next month or so, Jason will be leaving the communal housing with a few of his friends. He's been dealing with the loss of his family members in his own way, which also is causing him to push people he cares about away a bit. He is still struggling to find a balance in himself in this new world... and he doesn't know the Joker is here yet, when he finds out it will definitely come about in a explosive way.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Finding a place to call home etc etc. Chase has been alienated from everyone around him, family and peers, ever since he turned 13 and got magical goddamn powers. So, mostly slice of life and shipping, but given his powers, he's also good for action. IN SHORT: A COMBINATION.
● what plans you have for this character: Right now I just plan on getting him settled and making CR connections. Chase's long-term goals will include trying to figure out how to keep his drug of choice (magic) from slowly killing him, so hey, it's a good thing he works at the magic research institute!
● shipping/smut preferences: Chase is gay, and he's open to guys his age +/- 2 years. I do have long-term shipping plans for him, but I'm also planning on slow-burning it, so in the meantime, I'm totally open to casual dating/flirting/crushes/etc. I can give or take smut, but it's not a particular focus or interest, so fading to black is preferable!

● what your character wants: MORE POWER. But we can't always get what we want, Chase. Right now, he'll generally default to superficially "friendly" or obnoxious.
● what your character needs: REAL FRIENDS. MENTORS. FOUND FAMILY. Other supernatural or misfit teens. He also needs to start working at overcoming his addiction to magic before it, you know, turns him into the cryptkeeper and kills him. And to stop lashing out with hostility and blaming everyone else for his problems.

Oh and he could really do with more people to cut past his bullshit, because if it's up to Chase, he'll never get "real" about anything.

● shipping/smut preferences: Definitely okay with shipping. I'm personally not big on smut, but I'm okay with implied smut and fades-to-black. Keith is a dumb teenager with hormones. Things will happen, provided he can stop being a dork around potential love interests.
