Michael is very empathetic, and also has an actual condition which makes him hyper-sensitive to people and the world around him. It's a very fine line to walk as a player, to be intuitive but not to info-mod and allow a margin for error.

Michael cries a lot. He's somewhere between inhumanly resilient and incredibly fragile. People both admire/respect/fear him and baby him. Also like, super clingy, and has serious co-dependency and a thousand other issues. He actually was in therapy from childhood in canon, but it obviously didn't do much or he wouldn't be where he is.
