● threading habits: I'm in GMT (UK), and I am usually around for at least a couple of hours most days. I try to tag every day, and often boomerang if I'm around. However, I don't expect my partner to match my speed, and am happy with any speed or length of reply.
● about you: I am literally the worst at FPS games. No lie, I died fifteen times on the very first tutorial 'kill these skags' mission on Borderlands because I suck that much. If there ever came a time that an award for sucking at video games came to pass, I'd win that sucker hands down. I also have a cat who will walk to heel and come when Somewhere Over the Rainbow is whistled, as well as enjoys sitting under the water in the shower, because she's odd and I suspect she may not be a real cat.

● residence: Communal residence; Floor 1, Bed 1. However, he literally will never use this. He's going to scarper as soon as he's up and about, and will find a nice hidey-hole somewhere else in the city to sleep. Who cares about a real bed?
● about: Bucky was born in 1917 and grew up in a pretty charmed life; maybe he didn't have a whole lot of money, that was tight in those days, but he was athletic, handsome, intelligent, and generally excelled at whatever he put his mind to. He had a best friend who he thought the world of, Steve Rogers, and together they were going to take on the world! Until World War II happened. Bucky was drafted, went through basic training, and rose to the rank of Sergeant, specialising in sniping. He was captured by the Nazis in Europe and experimented on by HYDRA (the Nazi deep science division), which is how he came into possession of a serum that kept him alive when he fell an impossible height on a later mission. He was retrieved by HYDRA and handed to a Soviet branch, where he spent the next seventy years being tortured, brainwashed, mind-wiped, and controlled into becoming the Winter Soldier, a perfect obedient assassin. He's (sort of) broken free of this control now, but it's left him a far cry from the charmer he had been in his youth. Now he's taciturn, paranoid, mistrustful, and generally less pleasant to be around. But he's trying to be a good man again. Most of the time.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I really like the exploration aspect, but it's the character driven interactions that always fascinate me. I can't wait to see what sort of CR he ends up having.
● what plans you have for this character: None, yet. I like to roll with the punches.
● shipping/smut preferences: Probably not going to happen, at least it would take a hell of a long build up before he trusted himself with anyone enough for that. I'm not adverse to it happening if the chemistry is right, however.

● what your character wants: PLUMS! Okay, no, but Bucky would like to be left alone in a safe place to figure out who he is. His ideal CR would be nobody, because he's an antisocial tit.
● what your character needs: He needs people to not let him be an antisocial tit. I am honestly in love with both positive and negative CR, so I'm up for people who want to try and befriend/help him, as well as fights, or people who he pisses off/who piss him off. Bring it all on. As an antisocial character, I know it can be hard for people to find reasons to approach him, so I will always try to throw him at other people extra hard (even if he ends up rudely walking away pretty quickly because, again, antisocial tit).

● what your character wants: Friends from the community apartments and students from his class.
● what your character needs: Since he's a sociable and kind guy, he might not only need some friend young and old, but also a love interest, and some residents that might help him fight in case his Pokemon is unavailable or fainted (because why not). ● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: As an OC player, I live for cross-canon CR. I'm so excited for her to meet people from other worlds, where the rules are different. Ultimately, what I want for Fatima is to become secure in the knowledge that she can escape her "destiny" and make her own life. And I hope it's the people she meets that convince her of this truth. That said, Fatima gotta Fatima and she's going to be all about solving mysteries and exploring and otherwise sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong.
● what plans you have for this character: I have no solid plans! Ideally, I want to gather up a great new "family" in terms of CR. I also absolutely live for cross-canon shipping and Fatima is a bit of a flirt. Other than that, I want to roll with whatever happens.
● shipping/smut preferences: I love, love, love, love, LOVE cross-canon shipping. I think I may have mentioned that. I'm largely a "fade to black" kind of girl, but I'll go pretty far on both ends of that fade. Fatima is a huge flirt, but she's a little bit like a dog chasing cars in that she wouldn't know what to do with one if she ever caught it. She's very m/f and would definitely go for a long-term relationship, rather than a fling. One-night stands are out for her. She's also a virgin, so any ship would require a lot of building of trust.

● what your character wants: More than anything, Fatima feels a desperate need to prove she doesn't belong at the "kiddie table" of life. She wants to exceed people's expectations of her.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm a sucker for exploration and shipping, but Letha will be taking a slow transition into those since she is pregnant with her husband's child and is cautious about anything that might endanger her or her daughter. She's mostly here for the slice-of-life until she makes friends who can keep her safe during exploration.
● what plans you have for this character: I'm mostly winging it, I haven't played Letha since 2014 and it felt like time to brush the dust off of her.

(And he'll be operating under the assumption that he can be returned to WHEN he left as well as WHERE, because otherwise his absence will literally doom his entire world to oblivion, and he can't accept that.)

● shipping/smut preferences: Sera is 110% gay, but will still make lewd comments at any and everyone. I'm open to playing out anything that develops naturally.

His time with the Avengers recently came to an end, as Tony Stark got them in the divorce.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR. I'm a sucker for all kinds of CR and it always surprises and delights me.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing concrete, but it's a good time and setting for him to be known more as Steve Rogers and less Captain America.

● threading habits: I prefer to boomerang when and where possible. If I can't wrap a thread up in 7-10 days or so unless it's extremely character critical I'll probably ask to handwave the rest. I prefer threads to have some forward motion to them, and don't really like to do just idle small talk that leads nowhere. (Small talk that leads to better established CR is totally cool tho, just not the 'how's the weather?' type stuff.)

● about: You know that line from PacRim 'to fight monsters, we made monsters of our own'? Welcome to Flint. Basically, he's a broken, fucked up husk of a formerly good man. He has done absolutely awful things in the pursuit of what he sees to be a Necessary Goal, he's made himself into a creature that others fear to cross. There is something absolutely animal in him that lurks behind a polished Londonian accent and a clever smile. That said, he hates the man he manufactured for this end, and will be glad to step away from it in Riverview in a misguided attempt at finding some 'peace'.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm 100 percent here for the CR. Flint is someone who's spent his lifetime getting everyone he's close to dead or so close to it as to make no difference. He needs friends, man.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing concrete yet.
● shipping/smut preferences: I'm fine exploring it and seeing if anything comes of it. Flint is Canon Bisexual but leans more towards being homoromantic (otherwise known as 'It's Fucking Complicated') with Exceptions (well, 'Exception'. Singular). Then again, he's also massively repressed and about as celibate as the day is long, so. I mean. Good... luck?

● what your character wants: to Figure Shit Out. Obviously he's a bit outdated on the whole technological aspect of things, and Flint is too damn smart to let that stymie him for long. He's going to be engaging people with an eye to the future of the world. Nukes sound awesome, can he get at least three of them, he has a date with England. Also: fuck the aristocracy.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I love ongoing CR, cross canon CR and friendship things with Buffy. I'm also excited about the mission stuff because that's right up Buffy's alley.
● what plans you have for this character: She will be joining the perimeter guard. She's a CRAU that has a great friendship with Derek Hale. She also accidentally killed a human due to some bursts in power and the like in the game that she's from so she's going to be coping with that. For the most part, unless yours gets close to Buffy, she's the same old Buffy because she'll put on a smile and ramble a little until she gets to know people well enough to drop the facade.

● about: Ronan is Virginian, rich, and an asshole. I apologize for his being an asshole but it’d be OOC for him not to be one so we’re all stuck with the magnificent bastard. He’s described in the book as a “PTSD posterboy” and it’s true. He’s seen both his parents’ mutilated bodies at this point. So he’ angry, impulsive, and has a menacing stare. He’s built his appearance around this too. And yeah, he does have that cliche heart of gold… sort of. More like bronze. But he shows it rarely and it comes out in him still being, well, an asshole. But his calling people “loser” is said more affectionately when he means it in a good way. If your character is naturally abrasive and/or has a thick skin, they have a better chance of getting along. Especially if the character appreciates honesty since Ronan never lies.

He’s also codependent with his friends (again, actually described as such in the book). So he’s going to lash out a lot. However, he’s going to work on a farm, so if a character finds him there or after he’s left work, he’ll be more apt to have his guard down.

And oh yeah, no biggie, one tiny detail-- he can bring stuff out of his dreams. He brought his raven, Chainsaw, out of his dreams. He’s also accidentally brought monsters back. So uh, floor 1, if that sounds good, it’s a potential plot. He’s going to hide his powers at first, but someone is bound to notice in their close quarters.

Finally, if you really don’t like playing off of Ronan, I understand. I know these characters can be hard to play off of ICly and OOCly sometimes so if we’re threading and it gets to that point, let me know.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Settling into a place they have to rebuild, seeing as creating things is his power. Bringing out his nurturing side with animals will be interesting, given how miserable he is.
● what plans you have for this character: I want to see him freak out over having to reveal his powers again and this time to people he doesn’t trust at all. Other than that, basically just winging this one. He’ll want to explore and also want to make sure the farms run well cause someone has to, damn it.
● shipping/smut preferences: He’s gay but has a boyfriend in canon and isn’t the kind who gets “casual relationships.” So unless he’s stayed for a good, long while, he’s not considering anyone else. But unresolved sexual tension is always fun to play out, if you ask me.

But the issue that when the suit was sent to Earth, it was intercepted by a group of 4 idiots who stole the pieces from Adam (not on purpose but it happened), and afterwards, he was made to train these 4 guys into how to use the suit he had 30 years to learn. In 4 days.

Let's just say, Adam is bitter, but through it all he's still got the better good on the brain and that is what he wishes for. He's been isolated and alone for his whole life, knows nothing about how to live a normal life, and has no social grace. But he is what would you call a hero type, and an all-around good guy still!

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I love the exploration part, and him getting this job as well is great because I want him out and about and getting involved in things. I also am the most fascinated about building CR with him - he can be abrasive at first, and he's a whole lot of issues, and it's super interesting to me!

● shipping/smut preferences: I am absolutely into shipping and I don't enjoy writing smut! Although it's absolutely not an obligation. Rick doesn't do well in ordinary, normal situations so having things to keep him busy is good. I'm also interested in cross canon stuff, building friendships and relationships with people, which is always hard with Rick but so worth it when it happens.
● what plans you have for this character: He's been assigned to the police station, which is fitting for him as he's a law and order kind of guy. He'll be trying to work his way up in the ranks there. And again, I'm interested in getting Rick to let people in.

He's never really been this alone before, and it's going to shake him up and make him appreciate those back home a lot more. As a teenager, Yuri really just wants to carve out his own place in the world, and I'm looking forward to how he'll find that in Riverview.

● about: Steve is a brat. I'll say this multiple times, but I probably can't say it enough. He's sarcastic, a bit reckless, action-focused, and has this intentional habit of cutting people off with his shield or fists. On the more familiar side, he does have very strong beliefs in good conduct, fairness, and helping others. He's died, been brainwashed, given up the title of Captain America, fought aliens and world conquerors as well as Earth's usual villains and terrorists, and at this point he's just Over It. In his current canon point, he's handed off his shield to Bucky and is using a tech-based weapon. So he's just Steve Rogers. Not that this changes much.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character:
I love CR. I am really interested in seeing how the game setting and events affect Steve's relationships with everyone else. I live for crosscanon moments and good team-ups. Or good arguments. I'm also eager to get into exploring and defense aspects of the game. But cute stuff also works.
● what plans you have for this character: My goal is to send him beyond the fences for action and fun, disastrous excitement. Nothing too much beyond that yet. I'd like to get Steve to reevaluate himself eventually by getting him to branch out, but that's a long term goal.
● shipping/smut preferences: I am a slow burn. In canon, Steve does have light, no strings nights with people, but he also tends to have problems getting close to people, so that's a rocky path to travel. I wouldn't mind exploring good chemistry though!

● what your character wants: For people to get along. He's trying to figure out his place now that he is not Cap for a bit, so he'll be trying to figure out his place and, really, what he wants for himself. That's always a hard one.
● what your character needs: Friends that don't take his crap. And challenges, so anyone that makes him work for his accomplishments. Rival CR is also good for this, since he needs a firm hand. Training pals and nice people are welcome as well--he's just a difficult person, so he responds better to strong wills. And, really, he needs to lose a few fights some time.

But, as Cap, Bucky is in a place where he's trying really hard to be a good man again, though he's easily irritated (please don't be messy, roommates, he will have a hernia). At least he's partly socialized already. He's on a team of Avengers and everything.

He's not terribly creative either, and can be a bit passive-aggressive, but he's very good-natured and will definitely take a bullet to protect you even if he doesn't know you. He's coming right from his death at the end of season one, where he took the aforementioned bullet to save everyone he loves, so he's got a few issues that he's going to be covering with a lot of smiles, filling his time in an attempt not to think, and generally being overly animated.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building, slice-of-life, and occasional exploration missions!
● what plans you have for this character: For the first while I'm going to play around with his lingering issues from having died, and him working his way up the ladder at the precinct. I definitely want to have him accompany some of the exploration missions as I get into the swing of the game though! Also in some distant future I would really like to use AC points to give him a superpower, that would be rad.
● shipping/smut preferences: I am definitely open to shipping. Eddie is getting over a relationship with a fiancée that lasted over a year, which is the definition of It's Complicated. But I really want him to get over that and move on. I play Eddie as pretty comfortably bisexual.

● about: Billy Kaplan is a giant nerd, but he also has a tendency towards cynicism and sarcasm... so he can, on occasion, be a bit of a jerk. He doesn't mean to be, and if called out on it, he will feel genuinely sorry. Beyond that, he has a love for all things Norse mythology, superheroes, and Lord of the Rings... and Sound of Music. As the sort-of-son of the Scarlet Witch, an android, and a demon, Billy has a strong aptitude for magic. It's revealed that he will one day be the Demiurge, a magical messiah-type being who can not only create life and whole universes, but will rewrite all of magic throughout.

Because of this and the general strains that come with being a young superhero into way too much, Billy has a tendency to be unsure of himself and depressed. He's at the point in his canon where he's decided to push himself through it, but he still has his bad days.

Other than that, he's a good guy who genuinely cares about doing the right thing and protecting others, at any cost at all.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Exploration! Making cross-canon buddies! Pretty much all of it, to be honest.
● what plans you have for this character: I don't have solid plans at the moment, but I'd like to play Billy coming more into his own, becoming more certain of himself and just making a lot of new friends he can learn things from. I tend to just roll with things to be honest, but superhero shanigans are always welcome.
● shipping/smut preferences: Billy is engaged to his boyfriend back home, so it's unlikely he'll be looking to hook up. I guess we'll see how it goes shipping-wise though?
