....oh man, I grew up around PG. I mean, "around" in BC terms, which means within a 2 hour drive lmao. I'm in Vancouver now, though, so it can't make its mind up between hail, snow, rain, or sun. So, normal Vancouver weather.

And haha, god. Trying to explain to people how distance is perceived by someone living in BC is hilarious. I drove to Vancouver for a concert once and everyone was like 'a ten hour drive for a concert over a weekend when you had to be back on Monday???' and I was like 'well it was only about nine because I made good time!'

Haha yep. I used to live in Williams Lake and drove down to Vancouver every weekend to visit my ex (who was not an ex at the time) and no one batted an eyelash because BC! But even people who live in Vancouver don't completely get it. My girlfriend complains about a 5 hour drive and I just laugh softly.

I figured it was WL tbh because there are only so many towns within a 2 hour radius of PG, haha. god. #ruralproblems But yeah, that's like. You know. Perfectly acceptable weekend drive! I used to date someone in Seattle and I'd go down on my weekends and that fucker's like a fifteen hour drive and that was ~normal for me too. ayooo.
