● threading preferences: I'm trash for texting threads, usually prefer brackets, but I'm not prose-adverse.
● threading habits: I'm EST, I love boomeranging stuff, and if you poke me I will hit things asap. I'm usually around on the weekends, and a night owl so I usually post after 10pm. Recently, my uncle's had pretty dire health issues and with Christmas coming things might be a little rougher than usual, but I'm trying to find my groove again.
● about you: #MarvelForLife #TeamCap Still reading comics no matter how much they disappoint me, enjoy the MCU but basically a salt pillar re: my girls. Chronic migraines/headaches, shippertrash, forever a flag-waver for BuckyNat. Ava's canon is terrible and I'll never seriously recommend reading it.

● age: Physically 20, if I canon update her it'll be more like 23, but due to shenanigans she's mentally/emotionally older than she looks. Has an additional 70 years of experiences / muscle memory / emotions / etc.
● occupation: She sort of contracts with the Perimeter Guard, mostly works out in the abandoned city, and occasionally sells sketches. She's real good.
● residence: She lives with 616 Steve & Bucky
● about: Redheaded, Russian experiment with vague hydra touches, briefly a SHIELD trainee, lots of trauma, tries not to talk about it and wants to make a life for herself. Not particularly good with people, but she tries. Has powers, and is working on not setting things on fire. Punches things, can be pushy if she likes you. Soft on the inside, but frequently prickly.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Character relations, relationship building, shippy nonsense, missions and expansion... just about everything, really. But girl could definitely use someone to kiss someday.
● what plans you have for this character: Nothing too particular? I'd really love to have the issues with her canon love-interest come up so she could deal with basically being brainwashed into loving someone. She's going to keep working on the abandoned city, seeing what she can do to expand and solidify transportation, so I'm totally here for missions. I'm considering canon updating her, but a bit iffy because she'd be likely to pull away from most of her CR in the immediate aftermath until someone talked some sense to her. Also some panic about having her memories not quite make sense. It'd be a mess, but potential to be interesting, too. If anyone would actually be interested in something like that, holla. I also kind of want her to talk through superhero identity issues, and if keeping the Red Widow monicker makes sense in a place where no one understands and no one really connects it to her. Although, Her other codename was Winter Storm so whether or not that's better or worse is a point I'd definitely love to leave open to IC discussion. I'd really like her to at least crush on someone for a bit, but that'd probably involve her talking to someone about Alexei first.
● shipping/smut preferences: Defaults to M/F based on previous history. But, I think her hangups are more about trust and understanding and intimacy than particular gender expression. I do generally avoid actual-literal-teens with her, just because of the fore-mentioned age weirdness. Traumatized people, or people familiar with people that have been heavily traumatized are the most likely. Superheroes, soldiers, spies, or really just anyone that can understand ridiculous comics-type drama. Totally here for smut, but it'd probably take a bit for her to get there because trust is important and complicated.

● what your character needs: A nap, some chill, a shoulder to lean on, ladyfriends, affection, things she enjoys, to talk about her problems.

The art in the second comic is pretty much complete and total garbage, but I do love the invention where Ava and Alexei meet with a sexually-charged fencing match. Though, the comic wins just by virtue of not implying all the skeeviness the novel does, tbh.
