Same goes for tag length, I tend to just adapt depending on what I get from the other person. Network/inbox threads are great for some quick mindless fun, but definitely logs/in-person stuff preferred when it comes to developing CR.
● threading habits: I'm GMT, but I usually do night shifts at work so I'm often around during the early afternoon to tag, or really late at night (like 9PM EST onwards). Sometimes I boomerang, but generally I try to get to all my tags at least once a day, unless I'm busy with work stuff. I'm cool with whatever pace other people keep though, so long as we keep the threads going!

Overall he's a friendly and incredibly open guy, and he likes to make new friends and learn all sorts of new things and go on fun and/or weird adventures.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Exploration + expansion towards the Abandoned City and beyond, hopping around the whole moon on his shuttle, etc. Regular slice-of-life fun stuff is also great. Just a lot of CR building too. Also a bit of shippy stuff possibly, if anyone's interested.
● what plans you have for this character: I really want to be involved with the expansion to the Abandoned City, rebuilding and maintaining it and all that. I've got no specific plans, though, I like to make it up as I go along sometimes.
● shipping/smut preferences: Jim's not picky about sex or gender (or lack thereof), so long as the person's interesting and catches his eye that's all that matters. He's not looking for an actual relationship right now, but he is ready for some fun casual flings and hookups, friends with benefits, etc. I like writing smut but I don't mind fading to black either, whatever my RP partner prefers or is in the mood for, really.

I was JUST about to tag your comment, wow. Yeah I absolutely would love for them to meet! Jim is kind of all over the Quarantine, even if lately he's been at the Perimeter Guard more often than not, but if she'd be the type to pop by at some point, they could meet that way? (Also good, anyone who tries to level up his baby is excellent in his books.)

● about: He's a big old snake dude that is a general back home. He enjoys fighting, eating random foods, and slithering on the beach. He's got ice/water magic alongside illusionary magic he can preform. He also has a true form which is a big ass snake around 50 feet tall. But for real. He's basically a created being (half human half snake) that was made to fight and protect his goddess during a war a long time ago. Fast forward to 2000 years of peace until it all goes to hell when a disease starts to make everyone go cray cray. Aeacinos was affected but cured and he was about to be executed but was saved before he was brought here!

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Mostly for Aeacinos the exploration part is pretty good for him. I'm kinda in for all of it. Aeacinos is mostly use to war and fighting, it's what he was created to do, so this peace and nonviolent lifestyle is weird and awkward for him. But he's trying to learn and get better at doing mundane civilian things?!

● what plans you have for this character: Just to make more friends and maybe have some sparring bros he can always go to for those urges to fight.
● shipping/smut preferences: Honestly Aeacinos is bi so he'll legit sleep with whoever. But in terms of smut if people are uncomfortable he can actually shapeshift into a human. But at the moment he's not really looking for that? Maybe some one night stands if he can manage but who would want to bang a snake man?!

He's pretty quick to make friends, even with people he got off on the wrong foot with to start. He's pretty knowledgeable about the whole multi-verse thing but also tends to keep to himself/his friends due to how much has been going on his life since arriving to Riverview.

Ed's pretty handy, repairs and making shit out of thin air are totally his thing.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Personal relationships, mostly. I'd like to get him involved more with co-workers and people who need repairs, also people into talking about other worlds comparatively. Ed needs more friends, particularly friends who are invested in staying on the moon and making a home for themselves long term.

He will be getting himself into all sorts of things, between research, exploring this place, missions that come up and just over plot events in general. If anyone's interested in any of that, let me know!

● what plans you have for this character: Ed is always open to new CR that would be interested in research and/or exploration. He has a huge place to hang out since moving out of communal housing so anyone that would like a place to chill with all the amenities you can think of, feel free to become his friend.

I'm hoping to get him more social overall, going out with people, having get togethers and even starting on the dating scene have been in my plans since October.

● shipping/smut preferences: In an effort to get over Taiga I'd love to see Ed doing some casual dating in upcoming months, possibly to end in something long term but totally flexible. He's really only been with females up until this point so I'd like to explore with sexuality a bit for him. Sex is kind of ICly a rough topic due to his history and I prefer fade-to-black activity, but I'm totally open to discussing if we ever get that far. I'm a slow burn type, but I follow the CR chemistry.

● what your character wants: He's trying to make a home for himself here, research and working on getting to know the place better etc. Making friends with people who don't want to go home because he's sick of losing people, that sort of thing. Just trying to feel normal now that he's settling in a bit.

● about: Alec is a demon hunter in his reality who is part angel, but the angelic part isn't something he shares with most people. The majority of his family is in game. He lived in a very repressive society and is an introvert so sometimes he can be very outgoing with people he feels safe or connected with or very aloof and sarcastic with others. His husband runs the Apothecary so he hangs out there regularly.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm interested in having Alec grow and maybe find a role that isn't connected to being a Shadowhunter. I'd like him to try new things like going to college or finding interests that aren't related to weapons. He's also trying not to miss his little brother so healthy distractions would be great.
● what plans you have for this character: I'd like Alec to make more friends, ones he'll think of as family eventually since he lost his little brother and that's hitting him harder than he wants to admit. I'm thinking about having him start taking college classes so that he can learn more about the world(s) around him. I would like him to interact more with the magical/supernatural characters in game since he was beginning to work as a mediator between different supernatural groups before he arrived in game.
● shipping/smut preferences: Alec is happily married to Magnus Bane. ~~No one wants to ask him about Magnus. He'll go on and on about how talents and wonderful his husband is. He's permanently in the honeymoon phase of the relationship.~~

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Interpersonal stuff. She has been able to open up as a human, but she hasn't really done that much as an angel. ~~Actually she has been fighting and dying for centuries. It has been fun!~~

● occupation: He is Fundraising Campaign Specialist for the Riverview Ballet Conservatory.
● residence: He resides with his son and Undertaker.
● about: He was Watch-Dog/Guard-Dog to the Queen of England - a position he inherited from his mother, it seems. Interestingly enough, they seemed to die at around the same age. Coincidence? You're doomed if you make it into your thirties, Ciel. (Here, have an animated scene of dear Vincent. And here are one, two amvs!) To put it simply - Vincent is fabulous.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: It's interesting for him to be pulled away from what he knows. He is becoming quite a homebody, which isn't bad for him. He's also able to be the sort of father he always wanted to be to his son. Goodness knows, Ciel deserves it.
● what plans you have for this character: BALLET! I mean, he wants to expand it and make it a colorful, beautiful experience. I think he'll also go traveling eventually. Without notice. ~~Because he can.~~

● occupation: Animal Handler at the shelter. Possibly looking into adding him to the aquarium in coming months.
● residence: Communal Housing: Floor 1, Bed 9.
● about: Reincarnated hero and priest of Athena, Orion's fairly quiet and awkward, tends to mind his own business etc. More about him can be found here for anyone interested.

He's an expert on dogs and great for all of your animal troubles, otherwise everything you never needed to know about him and his world/history (including an opt-out post) can be found here. Orion has a bunch of stupid powers he won't be inclined to use except for soothing animals because he just wants to live a normal life and be left alone to do his job, for the most part.

Orion is an original character so please feel free to let me know if you have any questions that aren't covered in his information above! I am also good to keep all TDM threads canon if other players are interested.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Orion is going to love the holidays and lack of pressure to get involved in things. (Feel free to try to get him involved in things, I'm totally open to that even if he might not be.) He's going to want to make friends, especially if your character is a dog lover or some form of animal themselves.

● what plans you have for this character: Hahaha..... I'm flexible?

● shipping/smut preferences: Orion recently lost his canon soulmate so he'll probably be off the table for a little while. Unfortunately he seems to swing pretty straight so that limits his shipping options unless something new develops to the contrary. Again I follow the CR but I'm all about slow burn and fade-to-black when it comes to games and that suits him just fine. Unlike Ed, Orion is a virgin who has never even touched on a relationship due to losing the closest thing he had to girlfriend as soon as they tried.

● about: Shigeru comes from a world where phobias dictate the power of the person. After being cursed by an evil god for not siding with him in a war Shigeru's entire family lineage is cursed with the power attributed to mysophobia. He works for the government as the medic for a special ops team that infiltrates and investigates black market ongoings and other shady shit in his world!

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Shigeru is easy to really have everywhere. I would like to do more in the exploration part of it. If anyone ever needs a medic he is your guy! But I also want him to make more friends!

● what plans you have for this character: As of right now for his 1 year anniversary I'm definitely gonna try to have something set up where he actually gets possessed by the dark god that cursed him and he'll go on a rampage before being stopped.
● shipping/smut preferences: He is currently taken but casual flirting is cute and makes him embarrassed so go for it.

● what your character wants: I'd really like for him to get to know people who can help him keep calm and hopefully not get possessed again /sweats People who are willing to drag him around and do cute things with would be A+ too!
