● name: Jeff Calhoun
● age: 44
● occupation: Teacher of youths at Gramarye. He helps magical/powered kids who can't go to regular school.
● residence: Communal housing, floor 1
● about: Jeff's an OC, so here's a link to all the relevant info. The short of it is he's from a modern fantasy universe where about 12% of the population can do magic and have been open about it since the 1940s. Magic's also kind of needlessly difficult to even master, and a lot of "Gifted" folks don't bother to fully cultivate their potential.

As for Jeff, he's a suburban dad, a high school teacher, and he's divorced. He's also a burnt-out magic user with a major anxiety streak that he has to self-medicate. Once upon a time, he was kind of a (very, very small-time) rockstar bard, but then he sort of accidentally partially summoned a demon with too much reckless magic, and it totally wrecked his life. So he gave up his wild and crazy youthful antics and managed to turn his life around. For the most part, he's reformed! He barely even does magic anymore-- at least, nothing big...

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Around-the-city stuff mostly. Not 100% slice of life, but he's better at social plots than anything action/adventurey.
● what plans you have for this character: WINGING IT. Currently, he's kidnapped by cultists. This isn't the first time someone or something's wanted to hijack his body for possession, so that's going to unearth some major trauma from 20 years ago. I hadn't planned on throwing him to the wolves right out the gate, but I couldn't pass up the plot, so. GREAT TIMING, JEFF.

Anyway, after that, he'll probably need to make more friends/connections to distract himself from the otherwise crippling anxiety that's bound to ensue. I'm up for any kind of CR, positive or negative, and would love to do things with his job at Gramarye.

● shipping/smut preferences: Totally open-- well, totally open to characters who are age-appropriate for him. So ages 35+ are a safe bet!

● what your character wants: HIS DAUGHTER. Specifically, to go home to her, because jesus he doesn't even want to upend her life by moving to another state, LET ALONE ANOTHER UNIVERSE.
● what your character needs: Endless distractions until he can get home. Adults to aggressively befriend! Youths to dad at! Possibly an appointment with a therapist after this kidnapping's over and done with!
