● threading preferences: I can adjust to whatever, but I generally prefer prose. Brackets drive me a little crazy. XD
● threading habits: For now it is mostly a weekend thing cause the last few months of school are always insane as a teacher. BUT SUMMER IS COMING! (What is this malarkey, reverse Stark motto?)
● about you: I am a high school English Teacher and soccer coach. I run an anime and gaming club and also work in ESL at school. (Can you see why I’m busy?) I love to read and write and tend to get all tangled up in stuff during the week when it’s the school year. But during the summer I have tons more time and would really love to get all the CR going! I’m also in the Central Time Zone .

● age: 36
● occupation: Attending Physician at Riverview General
● residence: Communal Housing; Floor 8, Bed 2
● about: He’s the chief medical officer for the Enterprise and has a medical degree in multiple fields. He is also very old fashioned for such a futuristic time period. He’s realistic ( or pessimistic ) and can be rather grumpy. But he’s an amazingly loyal friend once you get to know him.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: He wants to help out. Whether as a doctor or even going and helping to resurrect some of the destroyed parts of the area. And knowing him, he’ll be following Jim out into the wild cause he likes to keep the guy in one piece. (Granted, he would likely go with other people exploring, too, cause he is a firm believer a medic is always needed.)
● what plans you have for this character: None specific for now? But I’m up for any ideas!
● shipping/smut preferences: Um… he is VERY old fashioned. He doesn’t do the free love thing and he’d have to date you first. ~~Plus his not so secret crush on a certain blonde captain.~~ He’s best put as bi? Mainly cause he just likes who he likes and doesn’t care about things like gender.

● what your character wants: To make some friends and settle in. Keep people out of trouble (namely Jim, but that won’t happen). He likes having some connections and he truly loves his work as a doctor no matter where that is. He innately wants to help people.
● what your character needs: To not drink? (Let’s be real, he will find whiskey where whiskey is to be had.) To keep people in one piece (specifically Jim). And likely a lot of information about the place so he can adjust his medical skills to what is available there in Riverview.

He will treat any and all people in need. XD Yours just gets the pleasure of hearing the complaining about idiots not taking care of themselves ALL THE WAY HOME AND UNTIL THEY GO TO SLEEP.

Well at least Wikus can know someone cares. Loudly and somewhat terrifyingly. And they can all have fun trying to figure out Prawn bio-tech! And by 'fun' I mean I'd like this to go terribly for Wikus. I am such a good mun.

Well, McCoy IS a genius in his own right and he's not above getting Jim to help him throw in tech information so he can master the two concepts together. But I'm all for mishaps in the process. But it will make for more grousing from the doctor if he hurts a patient. He takes his job seriously. XD

Yeeeees. I am completely fine with Bones grousing.

I'm going with the kinda Word-of-God idea that the black stuff transforming Wikus is nanotech that's meant to repair things and is basically 'repairing' Wikus into a Prawn from the genetic level up. (It's also kinda Word-of-God that the Prawns might be from another galaxy, and can apparently make a round trip of that distance in 3 years. So sufficiently advanced tech to reasonably give Star Trek-level tech a challenge!).

Word-of-God? XD Sorry, never heard that terminology before. In any case, I'm up for plotting and giving it a try. Just cause my character is smart doesn't mean I will know all the right terminology, sadly.

Hi. McCoy is life. I'd love to throw Fatima at him. She's just starting to learn about Starfleet, thanks to Jim. I'd love to have her meet more future people.

He is always open to meeting new people! And he likes to talk, so she would likely learn a bit about him. <3

Tima has a certain distrust of doctors. That could be fun.

so uh since they're floormates, how would bones react to someone hallucinating? nothing over the top, but little things here and there that suggest they're reacting to something that's not there?
