● threading preferences: Not fussy at all. My only solid preference is that I like writing in present tense.
● threading habits: I'm in PST and my tagging tends to be off and on. I'm attending school after many years out of school, so my habits depend on my level of mental exhaustion while I get into the swing of things. I am working hard on consistency though, and I love a good boomerang session when I can.
● about you: I live in BC, Canada, I have a year-and-a-half-old basset hound named Mr. Darcy, and I love to take photos of flowers.
eddie thawne ✪ dctv: the flash
● name: eddie thawne
● age: turning 29
● occupation: Detective with the RPD
● residence: an apartment with Yuri Plisetsky
● about: stats + permissions; application; Eddie is an observant, cocky, quick-thinking, decisive police detective with a heart of gold and a massive hero complex. ...and despite all that stuff about him being smart, he's also kind of a ditz when it comes to science and pop culture. He's not terribly creative either, and can be a bit passive-aggressive, but he's very good-natured and will definitely take a bullet to protect you even if he doesn't know you. He's coming right from his death at the end of season one, where he took the aforementioned bullet to save everyone he loves, so he's got a few issues that he's just starting to address. Expect him to be burying himself in his work, being cheerful, and trying to cover all of that up with smiles.
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building (especially found family and friendships) and maybe some exploration missions.
● what plans you have for this character: Learning wizard magic from Taako; having some cold case that needles at him long-term; trying to work through his post-death issues.
● shipping/smut preferences: This whole end of things is quite neatly wrapped up, so I'm not looking for anything for him!
● what your character wants: People to take care of. Things to do. Not to think too much. Friends. Found family. A team.
● what your character needs: All of the above. Plus therapy, probably. Also, Eddie isn't the typical 'stoic' type at all, but he uses his friendliness and cheerfulness and eagerness to help as a shield, and really needs people who are willing to push past that. He's got a lot of really nasty lingering issues related to the failure of his relationship, his two-week kidnapping in canon, and his death. His instinct is to brush them off or stop talking about them ASAP, so some close CR that will push him to open up about his feelings would be absolutely spectacular. It might not be pretty because Eddie is bad at dealing with his own negative feelings, but it's something he really needs.

● age: early-mid 20s
● occupation: none yet...she needs one...
● residence: floor 3, room 2, with Rey
● about: info post + permissions; Anne is an angry mildly psychopathic traumatized pirate from the 1700s. She's a stoic who doesn't share a lot of her feelings or thoughts, but she's got a lot of vulnerability and emotions just under the surface. Please fill out her permissions in the link above if you're sensitive to possible meta mentions of assault from her past.
● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building right now, but I'd like to get into some exploration missions with Anne!
● what plans you have for this character: I want her to start learning modern fighting styles, she's in the process of bonding with John Wick for murderfamily stuff. I need to figure out a decent job for her, but in the meantime she's probably gonna get fired a lot.
● shipping/smut preferences: I am 100% open to this. I love shipping and would absolutely love writing a ship with Anne, even though it might be tough. While she is bisexual and I'm open to whatever chemistry pops up, I'm far more interested in writing her in an f/f relationship.
● what your character wants: To figure out how to get Jack here, to fight a lot, to be okay.
● what your character needs: All of the above, plus friends and family. These are things she doesn't know she needs and would scoff if anyone said she needed them. But she does. She needs people to take care of her and care about her who she can learn to trust and open up to a bit. She's had a lot of betrayal in her life, being able to feel safe with someone who isn't Jack would mean the world to her.
