Hello Riverview (and Happy 4th of July)! I'm Jamie, and I'm bringing in Ava Orlova from the Black Widow: Forever Red novel which is weird and based on the MCU/Agents of Shield 'verse, so she's coming a little bit after the end of Winter Soldier, more or less.

She's a nineteen year old prickly teenager, former Brooklyn streetrat, and was studying with SHIELD before that got messy. She's been through Some Stuff has possible PTSD (only half of which is from stuff she's actually done) and she isn't particularly inclined to tell most people about it. She also may electrocute people. Whoops. She's been assigned to Floor 9, Room 7, though odds are she might try to find a corner somewhere she can stuff a sleeping bag instead of being near people.

Her canon is a weird mess so I'm super willing to answer questions, especially since I have yet to find a good wiki that covers her in any detail. But mostly I just can't wait for her to meet everyone and inevitably get herself into trouble! I'm around on Discord @ natalia_vdova#0150, plurk @ natalia_vdova, and AIM at archearted. I'm always down to plot stuff, or just toss characters together and see what sticks.

I don't have any neat gifs of Ava, so instead have Ava feeding her stray cat fishsticks from the soup kitchen.

Oh man, poor Bucky. But TO BE HONEST Ava's usual problem is people leaving so if they get along she probably would be more huffy-teenager than upset... she actually misses Natasha too tbh. but she has the motorcycle Natasha got her for her birthday in RV :>

Bucky has his bike too so clearly they should have breakneck races through the abandoned city. what is responsibility and being a good influence And lmao huffy teenager he can handle. He already kind of vaguely dads at Yuri Plisetsky and Ivar the Viking Teen.

Yessss that totally needs to happen. who needs good influences? Ava just wants boys that will punch left when she punches right tbh Hah, awesome. And she will probably be slightly easier to deal with than what Nat had to put up with. Less punching her way through military bases, maybe.

Hah, cool! So yes her canon is a mess, but in a fairly comics-inspired sort of way.

But! I did a top level for Ava on the Carnivale log, or I can toss her at Bucky at Steve's birthday thing, if you have a preference~ :)

TRUE but Ava is kind of Extra. Like Nat is going to stick Ava in a safehouse so Nat can go Face The Bad Guy. Ava fights her way out of the Triskelion and passive-aggressively leaves a pile of disassembled guns by the front door.

Eeeee! She's gonna have feelings, I'm excited.
