If he wants someone to talk about monsters with then Yuffie might be interesting. She works for the perimeter guard and her world has monsters. Of course, it's a video game and she's really not opposed to killing them because they're more or less like animals. If they try to kill you then you try to kill them right back.

Also, Yuffie doesn't sleep much (horrible PTSD nightmares, her life kinda sucks when you take it out of a video game) but that means she goes around at night jumping from building to building in her dark ninja outfit. She also may or may not be stealing things from people at a later date. She's trying to stop but it's Haaaaaard.

Oh my gosh I am absolutely going to need them to meet. I'm so game for Dick making friends with people who have different standards/might challenge him on his monster feelings. Obviously they need to have a dramatic rooftop meeting of some kind (with possible stealing??).

Absolutely! I can toss something at you on your most recent post. I'm thinking dramatic rooftop meeting and then possible sirens or something to imply that Yuffie might have swiped something that wasn't hers. Mind you, it'll probably be a get stupid something but it'd still be interesting and fun.
