I honestly have no reason why these two would naturally talk to each other, but if Magnus starts a sportsball league, I OOCly would love to find a reason to have Odo be involved as an umpire, he actually has experience with. In canon he's also known to be an impartial judge.
If you're up for making some CR, Odo's on the police force if that helps in any way.

November should be a good time for Odo to be sufficiently settled at least! Sadly he would have to be half-roped in. Like, he wouldn't 100% volunteer by himself, but if someone suggested it or asked him he would internally remember that he enjoyed it and "reluctantly" agree. Something along those lines, anyway. Depending upon what he's been doing up until the point the sportsball teams are forming, it could change how easily he's swayed, too.
