● about: in summary, matt is a blind defense attorney who's secretly the vigilante, daredevil. despite being blind, the rest of his senses are actually enhanced, so he actually has a good sense of his surroundings (his app is a bit more descriptive on how his abilities work). he's a catholic boy who constantly battles the idea of what's defined as right and wrong, and tries to do right by the most moral ideas of justice. he can be quite sarcastic and a bit of a smartass, but due to his career choices, he's trained way in presenting a charming persona that can be slightly manipulative in order to gather information about situations and people - though he means well in his intentions, wanting to protect people as well as he's able. currently, he's retired from the superhero life due to some bad times with evil ninjas and the death of his ex-girlfriend, so forgive him if he's a bit of a debbie downer at times.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: a little bit of everything! a mix of all things to help further matt's character development. action to provide a bit of that daredevil, superhero life. slice of life to bring out the lawyer aspect and maybe help defend other characters in game. shipping to help him get past his very complex romantic past that seems to constantly end in failure for a multitude of reasons, including his inability to balance out the different lives he leads.
● what plans you have for this character: matt will be sharing a variety of memories for the memory share! these are open to any characters,
whether he's previously had cr with them or not, and will be a mix of first person or third person depending on preference. please note: he's blind! so first perspective will be a lot of darkness and focuses on the heightened senses of sound, smell, touch, and taste. memories will include: becoming blind as a child, finding his murdered father in an alley, training with his blind mentor, a variety of fights as daredevil, his ex-girlfriend dying in his arms. if you're interested in any of these, or possibly something not listed here, let me know!
● shipping/smut preferences: m/f only, please! as mentioned above, his romantic life has always been complex, so for shipping, i'd prefer some very progressive development, especially from contrasting personalities that can help balance out matt's traits. open for smut, though he's the type that prefers developing a further spark with some dates, so expect to bring out a bit of romance first before doing the do.

● what your character wants: a little bit of peace, with mostly professional and platonic relationships. he's a bit on a hiatus in terms of crime-fighting and romance, so he wants to avoid those aspects as much as possible.

You don't need to be from his canon for him to interact with you, like you, manipulate you, hate you. I kind of want someone to take him to the zoo. Then again I also want him to kidnap someone close to Red Hood or Nightwing, beat them/torture them, send them to the police station where they work or whatever, blow the station up with a rocket, wave, laugh, and announce himself as a citizen of the city.

So like I said: plenty of range in what I'm up for. Kicking back and acting normal, or at night...maybe not so much.

Trying to sum him up in a paragraph is challenging, but I will try to hit main points.

He is a Changeling, so he can take the forms of various objects / animals with varying degrees of success. It also means he has to regenerate / revert back to his liquid form once every 16 hours.

Outwardly he comes off as a curmudgeon, and only interested in justice and order. Social gatherings are NOT his thing, and he is a very private person. That said, inside he is quite a sensitive man, and takes things to heart. He is kind to children and sympathetic to those in an institutionalized or "trapped" situation.

At his canon point he has made some progress with social skills and being less of a grump, however being shoved into a new environment will likely cause some of that to regress as a defense mechanism.

He has real identity / belonging issues, because for a long time he didn't even know what he was, and wasn't being treated as a sentient life form. (To be fair, he was a pile of goo at the time.) After actually finding his people, he found out that they are asshats and doesn't want anything to do with them... except that he does. Because it's home to be with them in the link.

Because of this he also tends to cling to being security chief as part of his identity rather than just a job.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: To be honest I just went for a "do your own thing" game, but I'm interested in getting him to a point where he feels invested in the community. He's obviously not there yet and it might take a while. I think given time, he might learn to be more accepting of being here.

● what plans you have for this character: He's new, so right now I have little planned, but I have a couple of thoughts for the future - one of which has to do with the fact that he's actually infected with a virus that was meant to kill changelings. At his canon point he is unaware that he has it. Could be fun to mess around with that in some way or another.

● shipping/smut preferences: I'm not really into playing out smut. As for shipping, he canonically is in a relationship with Kira Nerys at his canon point. I play him as asexual but romantic. If for any reason he could get over Kira, I am open to cross canon shipping options if it feels right.

● what your character wants: Right now he wants to know what happened to pull him here (like, scientifically - also he doesn't take what he was told at face value.) and to find a way to return to DS9. As a "default," Odo will always want to keep things orderly. He will also be clinging to his job a bit to cope with the situation.

● what your character needs: He needs friends. People who can tolerate his grump and sarcasm and stick-up-his-butt to see what's beyond the surface. People who he can eventually feel safe being vulnerable around.

● anything else: OK SO HIS ICONS SUCK A BIT - because they changed Odo's masks in style every 2 seasons or something. So even if he's from 7th seasons, I still have some older season icons. ● threading habits: My timezone is CST and I tag in the evenings unless I have the day off. I try to tag at least once a day but sometimes work/life gets crazy and I’ve given up trying to predict when. At most I’ll go a few days in between tags but I’ll get back to them.

● about: Ronan’s a traumatized orphan who has no idea how to deal with PTSD in a healthy way. He’s a jerk who shows his affection by insulting people and then dreaming them nice things. This can be confusing. It’s very easy to get negative CR with him if you’re craving that but he can also make friends. He forgives pretty easily.

He has the ability to bring things back from his dreams, which just got revealed on the network thanks to the memory share plot. He’s paranoid about people learning his power so this is his worst nightmare. He’ll eventually realize that people probably aren’t going to kill him because of this and calm down. Probably.

Interests include stoic philosophers, quoting dead guys, latin, music, and pretending he doesn’t like everything previously mentioned. He loves street racing, boxing, brawling, and drinking. And his religion is Catholicism guilt.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Having him interact with people and see how he responds to all the events.
● what plans you have for this character: Next month he’s going to have a breakdown from all the trauma of this month. He’s going to bring back a monster or two from his dreams. It’s in an abandoned house. So hey if you want to monster fight let me know.

● about: stats + permissions; Riverview status; Eddie is an observant, cocky, quick-thinking, decisive police detective with a heart of gold and a massive hero complex. ...and despite all that stuff about him being smart, he's also kind of a ditz when it comes to science and pop culture. He's not terribly creative either, and can be a bit passive-aggressive, but he's very good-natured and will definitely take a bullet to protect you even if he doesn't know you. He's coming right from his death at the end of season one, where he took the aforementioned bullet to save everyone he loves, so he's got a few issues that he's just starting to address. Expect him to be burying himself in his work, being cheerful, and trying to cover all of that up with smiles.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building, especially found family and friendships. Slice-of-life with possibly some mission stuff.
● what plans you have for this character: Developing his new superpowers and possibly taking up an alter-ego and working for the Perimeter Guard on the side. Having him work on a cold case that's been eating at him.
● shipping/smut preferences: Unavailable, Eddie has a boyfriend.

● what your character wants: People to take care of. Things to do. Not to think too much. Friends. Found family. A team.
● what your character needs: All of the above. Plus therapy, probably. Also, Eddie isn't the typical 'stoic' type at all, but he uses his friendliness and cheerfulness and eagerness to help as a shield, and really needs people who are willing to push past that. He's got a lot of really nasty lingering issues related to the failure of his relationship, his two-week kidnapping in canon, and his death. His instinct is to brush them off or stop talking about them ASAP, so some close CR that will push him to open up about his feelings would be absolutely spectacular. It might not be pretty because Eddie is bad at dealing with his own negative feelings, but it's something he really needs. His memory share would be a great place to get this sort of CR started.

● what plans you have for this character: Have her make friends, she needs more of them. It's hard for her to trust others, and it's even more awkward when someone acts genuinely worried for her. I would love to throw in angst because of her previous life of Jakku and dealing with people seeing those memories form the memshare event. Also, romance, but that's a long ways off--and there's still the new movie coming out so...we'll see what happens.

I would love for Rey to connect with someone, but it would be a slow build up not just because of her building that trust, but it would take her a while to realize she has feelings for someone. Then of course, having to deal with said feelings and figuring out what to do. The short of it: Ed is rather mellow and laid back, he's older and not as quick to jump to the defensive as his canon counterparts. Having been in this sort of situation before (strange new unknown world) he is one to help out when he can, but considering the new environment and his natural tendency to self-preservation he's being very cautious about it for now. He's keeping an eye on anyone he recognizes from previous worlds, even if just to try to stay away from their bad side, but overall he's a well meaning trustworthy person who has a tendency to make other people's business his own. He doesn't necessarily open up or trust easy, but he's quick to make friends and was frequently looked up to or put "in charge" a lot when shit hit the fan previously.

Ed's pretty handy, repairs and making shit out of thin air are totally his thing.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Personal relationships, mostly. I'd like to get him involved more with co-workers and people who need repairs, also people into talking about other worlds comparatively.

He will be getting himself into all sorts of things, between research, exploring this place, missions that come up and just over plot events in general.

● about: Alec is a demon hunter in his reality, but the angelic part isn't something he shares with most people. The majority of his family is in game. He lived in a very repressive society and is an introvert so sometimes he can be very outgoing with people he feels safe or connected with or very aloof and sarcastic with others. His husband runs the Quarantine bar so he hangs out there regularly.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Slice of life, maybe some missions.
● what plans you have for this character: I'm hoping that Alec can make some more friends. I'd like for him to interact with people who he can fuss over since he's the protective big brother type. He had terrible parental role models so I'd love for him to have someone in his life that can be kind of a mentor for him.
● shipping/smut preferences: Alec is happily married to Magnus Bane.

● what your character wants: His family to be happy and safe. A motorcycle and a cat.
● what your character needs: More friends, people to tell him that he's not going to become like his parents (even if they don't know Alec's parents).
